Check your dictionary for the word and you might be wiser today. This phenomenon happens more often than we know because such incidents are generally not reported or are unnoticed because they do not cause any damage.
  
  When for instance warning shots are fired into the air, the bullets do not get stuck in the atmosphere. Depending on the strength of both the discharging arm or the ammunition, the bullet, by the laws of gravity and nature, will at some point reach a terminal point of velocity and begin to make a downward trajectory and randomly land anywhere - sometimes many miles away from where the bullet was discharged. To be a victim of such an incident amounts to sheer ill-luck. Nothing more than that.

  If Charles wants the government to ban celebratory gunshots in the country, he should come out and say so plainly. He should not hide behind an unverifiable isolated incident and jump to this conclusion. He should not put pressure on the government.
