President Mahama, it is nice to hear you say, as a President that, you value every Ghanaian life. The unfortunate truth of this matter however is that, many of these people do not have an iota of respect nor value for the entity Ghana or its citizens.

If for example, I venture into a business project in Ghana and I fail, the dire consequences are left between me and my God to sort out. If these people think that turning their backs on their own country and traveling to a country like South Africa, against all advice and odds, well then, good luck to them. Why should we offer our hard-earned tax to rescue them from their foolishness? They should find their way back in the same way that they left.

There are others who enthusiastically take the notoriously high-risk crossing of the Mediterranean sea who end up like the hundreds who die in that pursuit every week and no one gives a toss about their fate. Why then are we making all this noise about the situation in South Africa. For years, the citizens of South Africa have been telling us that they don't want us there in their country as immigrants. That being the case, why have our people not left?

The President should make Ghana a much better place so Ghanaians will not leave this beautiful and hospitable place to go and huzzle in this racist country. President Mahama was in this country when NPP revoked licences of several financial institutions and some are yet to be revoked. He made promises when he was on opposition. When he came to power through the votes of these aggrieved customers what has he done for them? These banks are still struggling to pay their investors. Institutions with locked up funds are still agitating. Why should we blame the investors when Bank of Ghana failed to monitor the operations of these financial institutions? Why wouldn't Ghanaians leave Ghana and go to South Africa and die instead of going through shame and disgrace here in Ghana. I hope the President Mahama will step in and help. God bless our homeland Ghana.
