The Zongo concept must be discouraged and all Zongolians properly integrated into the rest of society. The Zongos are spanning, sprawling and spawning and we shouldn't encourage the exclusive Zongo life be making life comfortable for them. There are simply too many Zongos in Ghana and we must not validate any more Zongo life with an assayer's stamp through the provision of more social amenities.

Transfer of civil servants to such areas will no longer be viewed as punishment by people in Accra. Politicians? The same president who said "No community will be be left out of in this national reset agenda", so why single out Zongos? Zongo is not a place but MENTALITY of the people living there. NOBODY can do anything for the people living there without change in their mindsets! It would be easier for a camel to enter the hole of the needle than develop Zongos! Even in most different communities, when people from the Zongos move there, they bring their Zongo attitudes.
