I was firmly convinced that the NDC, based on its promises while in opposition, would pass the Anti-LGBTQ bill into law. However, recent developments have left me disappointed, as those assurances now appear to have been nothing more than political promises.

Looking around the world, I observe that many Islamic countries and Muslim communities maintain strong opposition to homosexuality and lesbianism based on their religious beliefs and values. For this reason, I believe Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as a Muslim and leader of the NPP, would be more committed to supporting and assenting to such legislation if given the opportunity.

Therefore, if Ghanaians genuinely want to see this bill become law, I encourage them to consider supporting Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP in the 2028 elections.

In their view, Nana Addo failed to sign it when he had the opportunity to do so, for that matter JM should also be frustrated so he also fails.Na lie JM will sign this bill whether they like it or not.
