Do you think I'm stupid? Wait for a new showdown in 2027 - Ken Agyapong dares NPP

Former NPP presidential hopeful Kennedy Agyapong has issued a strong warning to the party, saying a fresh showdown awaits it in 2027.

According to him, he is prepared to demonstrate where power lies ahead of the party’s internal processes leading to the 2028 general elections.

Speaking on Net2 TV, the outspoken politician said he is not intimidated by anyone within the party and intends to make his influence felt during the period when new executives will be elected.

“I will bring the NPP to its knees in June or July 2027,” he said.

He added that he expects intense political activity within the party as it prepares for internal elections to choose leaders ahead of the national polls.

Kennedy Agyapong also responded to criticism from party members over his recent comments regarding the Afari Military Hospital project and the Minority Caucus’ tour of the facility.

He insisted that he would not allow himself to be undermined or sidelined within the party.

“I am not stupid. Don’t toy with my intelligence,” he said.

He further stated that he would not associate himself with what he described as internal disagreements over the handling of national projects and the party’s political messaging.
