It is the Ethics Committee of General Legal Council that will do that when someone lodges the complaint.

Striking off: The lawyer's name can be struck off the Roll of Lawyers in Ghana, permanently ending their right to practice law.Suspension:

The lawyer may be prohibited from practicing as a lawyer for a specified period.Financial Penalties:

The lawyer may be issued a fine by the Disciplinary committee.
