The Juabenhene, Nana Otuo Siriboe II, shared a humorous account with the Asanteman Council about accompanying the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, on his recent trip abroad.
Providing an update on Otumfuo's visit to Poland, Canada and the United States, Nana Otuo Siriboe II told the council that travelling with the Asantehene is one of the best experiences he has ever had.
According to him, there were no security checks at the airport, as all they had to do was carry their bags and board a chartered flight for the trip.
He added that the variety of food served on the plane was another memorable part of the journey, drawing loud laughter from members of the council.
“I want to inform the council that Otumfuo sought permission to travel abroad to Poland, the United States and Canada and the council granted him permission to do so.

“When you are travelling with Otumfuo, it is very nice. There is no need to go through airport security checks or have your belongings searched. He chartered a flight and all of us simply boarded.
“As for the varieties of food on the plane, I will talk about that later,” he said, amid laughter from the audience.
