The guy initially pleaded guilty. He should either go to Court and plead Guilty as charged and ask for “LENIENCY “ and explain also to the court whether he was Misled by his Legal Team. The Leniency if accepted should result in the reduction of CUSTODIAL sentence from 15 years to 10 years with hard labour and Seizure of Assets. This for my money should serve as DETERRENT.
