This decision by the NDC govt is a disaster of major proportions. Unbelievable. It is the result of of the kind of thinking that comes from an immature mind, an illiterate mind and I daresay, a mind that does not have the best interest of Ghana at heart. It is childish, immature and moronic.

We won't talk to a fellow African leader because we have a problem with the masses of their country who do not want illegal undocumented Ghanaians in their sovereign country? This is not just a shame. It is an international disgrace.

For God's sake, even Iran who has suffered tens of thousands of deaths - including the revered Ayatollah Khomeini, at the hands of the US in the ongoing illegitimate invasion of their country, is having equal power discussions with their oppressors. This is the mark of the highest level of political maturity and enlightenment. Is this something that is too hard for Ghana to emulate?

I am so disappointed that the current govt, which has up to now shown and offered signs of hope and salvation for the long-suffering Ghanaian people, has in recent times taken a nose-dive to reach the depths of the most shameful, no-holds barred incompetent and thieving depths of its predecessor govt.

All right-thinking people in this country are becoming increasingly concerned about some of the people around him in govt. This historically inept decision is obviously the result of such unqualified appointees.

It is quite obvious, judging from the ANC government response, its complicit in these attacks. Afterall that Africa has done for these ungrateful people, we stood by them and fought apartheid. Their nationals were here in their numbers, Ghana hosted them as well other African countries freely. Nigerian, instituted a special tax to support the ANC and others in their struggles against apartheid government. South Africans should remember it's past and behave like civilized societies and stop killing our nationals and others for seeking economic refuge in their country. State visit from South African president to Ghana is about only one thing, and one thing only, to seek assurance for the renewal of the lease of Tarkwa Goldfields Mining Limited, and assurance from Ghana's president about protecting Anglo Ashanti Gold Limited, with other South African interest in Ghana. This should tell Ghanaians that real earth minerals cannot be joked with, it is the lifeblood of every nation in this world. Tarkwa Goldfield Limited is far gone, the lease will never be renewed, never,, or Ghana will be turned upside down, no one leader or government can commit the entire population into slavery for 270 million US Dollars per year again. We pay for unemployed South Africans to sit at home over the past 30 years, yet they foolishly demonstrate to kick our people out of South Africa, and kill some of them on top, when we hold the cards. As far as Ghana is concerned, it is over for South Africa mining companies in Ghana, no lease will ever be renewed again, we have seen the light.
