There's no way President Mahama can cross the 40% mark if he makes the mistake to stand for 2028. He has lost his popularity

Prof, with all due respect, you have never practiced law in Ghana . Being a law professor is different from a practicing lawyer. Allow Supreme Court to rule on it .

Exactly! What’s the problem here? You can advise the president not to try running for 3rd term ( in fact he already said he’s not interested) but to be attempting to influence the court is problematic. why all this talkin ...

VERY STUPID GHANA PEOPLE. WHY WASTE TIME TALKING ABOUT THIS? AND WHY WOULD'NT MAHAMA JUST COME OUT TO ANNOUNCE THAT HE IS NOT GOING TO RUN???

  • Klaase Klose Marfhen 2 weeks ago

Pres Mahama has said categorically that he's not standing for a third term, so why all these? We don't need any rocket scientist to explain to us again.

President Mahama must be intelligent not to fall into this trap. I think the constitution is very clear when it says two terms. We should be careful the suit does not open a flood gate to chaos in the country.

To nana aba, The Constitution did not say just two term it says two concercative term so it needs surprem court ruling.

At the end of 2028, Mahama cannot be President of Ghana again because he would've served a total number of TWO TERMS (separately) just as Agyekum Kufuor and Akufo-Addo served TWO TERMS (consecutively or back-to-back)

  • Caution 2 weeks ago

Why the hate? The law says two consecutive terms - which needs to be tested for proper interpretation. Consider the interpretation and application of "two consecutive terms" in Russia. Mr. Putin served his first two terms, to ...
