EOCO Arrest: NPP’s Miracle Aboagye granted GH¢50 million bail

NPP Communications Team member, Miracle Aboagye, has been granted bail following his arrest by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) over an alleged money laundering scheme.

It may be recalled that GhanaWeb reported on July 12, 2026, that Miracle Aboagye was picked up by EOCO at the Accra International Airport over corruption-related allegations.

According to reports, Miracle Aboagye is accused of the misappropriation, misapplication, diversion, and theft of public funds amounting to GH¢55 million.

In a recent report and video sighted by GhanaWeb on Monday, July 13, 2026, the NPP Communications Team member was reported to have been granted bail.

In a post shared by journalist Elton Brobbey, it was stated that Miracle Aboagye had been granted bail in the sum of GH¢50 million.

“Dennis Miracles Aboagye has been granted bail in the sum of GH¢50 million with three sureties, two of whom must be justified. His lawyer, Samuel Atta Akyea, says it will be difficult to satisfy the bail conditions tonight,” he reported.
