Law-makers in Ghana are the real problems and the roots of low progress in Ghana's development, because they make the law and if they are smart enough, then their laws would rescue Ghana from corruption, poverty, slavery, struggles and lack quick development of so many years democracy. Most of them are either cowards or ignorant to understand that the practice of political appointments if is the real threat to democracy and it is the root of poor and slow development of Ghana and most poor nations and so the ideology of political appointments must be abolished by law makers through constitutional amendments. Almost all these law-makers are afraid or coward or ignorant to know or speak the truth that most corruption and failure in Ghana are rooted in political appointments. Until Political appointments are abolished in Ghana and all top government officials are required to be elected by votes, Ghana is not going to develop anything faster, because appointees will always pursue more of their interests and their party's interested over the interests of their Ghananian citizens. Next; ensure that henceforth, by constitution, all top government officials are to be elected by votes to give every citizen equal right, equal chance and equal process to serve in top positions in government where each top leader can choose a running mate, deputies, assistant or next in command just as the president does. The best and fastest means to develop Ghana quickly in shortest time possible is to abolish the practice of "POLITICAL APPOINTMENTS" in government and allow all top public officials or #1 persons in all public sectors to be elected by votes. There are over hundred reasons and benefits and are of far more value than appointing people and discriminating in government. A few of the reasons why all top government officials must be elected and no more appointed are as follows;
(1) Expertise will get equal chance and rights to serve at top positions in government
(2) Performance in each sector will improve by competition from expertise, including Ghanaian diasporas
(3) There will be responsibility and accountability with freedom from political attacks or party shielding
(4) Corruption will reduce drastically due to countability and responsibility
(5) Citizens can bring new reliable ideas by competitive performance since any competent one can be elected
(6) There will no "winner takes all" or too many judgement debts or legal shielding by party in power.
(7) Development I all sectors will be faster and progressive due to absence of political interference
(8) All top officials will report to the president and account for their performance and progress
(9) Each top government officials can choose a running mate, an assistant, a deputy, a vice or next in command
(10) It will reduce the ability of corrupt foreign intelligence in control the entire nation through the president who appoints
(11) Electing all top government officials will serve as the best genuine democracy with not political appointments
(12) Abolishing political appointments will stop Ghana from being divided into two by two part system of mutual destructions

The best and fastest way to develop Ghana quickly in the shortest possible time is to start abolishing all the practices of "POLITICAL APPOINTMENTS" in government and then, allow all top public officials or the #1 persons in all public sectors to be elected by votes. There are many and over hundred reasons or benefits that are far more valuable than appointing people to serve in top positions of government by discrimination with "pick & choose". A few of the genuinely great reasons why all top government officials must be elected and no one should be appointed anymore are as follows;

(8) Let all sectors develop well faster without any party interference
(9) Let top officials report performance & show progress to president.
(10) Let elected officials choose mates/assistants/deputies/vice/next in command.
(11) Protect Ghana from corrupt foreign control or using the president.
(12) Electing all top government officials is best genuine democracy.
(13) Avoid "loot-share" made possible and easy and through appointments
(14) Abolish political appointments to unite Ghana against 2 part division.

If I had the power or authority, I would destroy all the nonsense political parties in Ghana, allow each sector to elected their leaders by voting and then these elected leaders can vote to choose the president the vice president of Ghana, so that Ghana will have the best genuine democracy with fairness and honesty and all the nonsenses or the foolishness of poverty, filth and lack of development born by corruption will be over. Most people of Ghana are too much of foolishness, stupidity, ignorance and disobedience that nothing better falls into their ears but only insults because they know how to insults back when they are triggered or provoked by insults just as Kevin Taylor and others do. Please, change the systems for expedite progress and quick development of Ghana by abolishing the practice of Political Appointments to have best lasting legacy of true respect for solving the crucial problem of Ghana. This is what J. J. Rawlings should have done after he killed people for power. It was possibly similar an ideology Acheampong had before he executed by J.
