To be frank and fair Chairman Wontomi sentence was too HARSH. I see it as politically motivated sentence. I am very angry and upset with my Ashanti brother Chairman Wontomi for his ignorance and indifference to the suffering of us Ashantis for his support for the Eastern region Tiny population Akyem Abuakwa CRIMINALS Akuffo Addo and Ken Ofori Atta and Bawumia and Gabby Octhere Darko. Chairman Wontomi had a valid mining licence and so what he did was an administrative error or oversight for not getting a Ministerial amendment to his valid mining licence. For such administrative error he should have received just a FINE. NPP must appeal immediately. What about the NDC criminals that the Attorney General stopped their prosecutions when the NDC came to power in January 2025? Those NDC criminals caused far more financial loss to the State of Ghana.
