I just feel ashamed when some very educated and enlightened people in Ghana continue to make every important decision or action taken by any of the two main Political Parties become an ethnic issue. That is just very bad and immature. What we are witnessing and reading is a decision taken by the Court and being enforced by the Police. How does this become an NPP/NDC issue? When such things continue to happen, then some disgruntled Military Personnel take advantage of the situation and usurp Power as it happened in the not too distant past. If the Courts have given a ruling and the assistance of the Police have been sought to enforce it, let that be enough and enforced. In the Developed Western countries, the Police are employed to enforce Court Orders. For many decades that I have lived in Uncle Sam’s country, that is what the Police does. The Military are never involved in the enforcement of any Court Order. If push comes to shove, the Army which is a Branch of the Military in the USA can enforce Court Order and even assigned to arrest any criminal whose arrests are usually made by the Police in uniform.
Let us be matured and stop every issue being degenerated into Tribalism.

Most of Ghana's multimillionaires live abroad and come from every profession you can think of. The great majority built up their wealth the normal way - through sheer hard work, sacrifice, tenacity, living frugaly and budgeting carefully. The had discipline and handled their money wisely
They saved and then invested in businesses that started very small or they studied the stock markets and invested in that asset class. Others invested in real estate and other tangible assets. A few of these individuals I personally know took an average of at least 2 decades to become multi millionaires ( dollar, pound or euro terms). Today if you met these men and women in the streets of New York, Atlanta,London, Paris,Amsterdam or Stockholm ( to mention just a few examples) you would never guess they were multimillionaires. Many are incredibly generous with their wealth! This is why I find Ghana's breed of the "very rich" hard to comprehend. So many of them try too hard to prove that they are very very rich forcing some of us to suspect that all that display of wealth is fake and more apparent than real! It is all so sad because many of those indulging in this kind of self- defeating behaviour seem intelligent enough to be able to really do something useful with their lives BUT THEY SEEM TO LACK DISCIPLINE, FOCUS AND INTEGRITY
And without these character traits one cannot progress very far in life.
