It is strange that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh is calling for an evidence-based reassessment of the Busia government. It’s strange in the sense that he Matthew Opoku Prempeh didn’t do any evidence-based assessments of the electronic voting system of NPP-USA when he declared at a NEC meeting that it’s a rigging machine. He just believed whatever that his boy in Columbus Ohio told him and biasedly used it against an external branch. But today, he’s calling for an evidence-based assessment. As an educated person, a trained medical doctor, is he not supposed to use evidence, scientific evidence in diagnosing the ailments and sicknesses of his patients? So why didn’t he do that in the case of the electronic voting system od NPP-USA? Why did he just rely on the empty loud ugly noises of his Columbus Ohio illiterate boy and spewed out that garbage at a NEC meeting that NPP-USA’s electronic voting system is a rigging machine? He has never asked NPP-USA to demonstrate the third party electronic voting system to him to fully comprehend its mechanisms and any shortcomings but solely relied on the useless lies of his boy in Columbus. Should a VP candidate rely on solely hearsay to arrive at a definitive conclusion? No wonder, his “your Kwame Nkrumah” statement generated more criticisms. He needs to learn that he must always base his utterances on evidence and not follow mere hearsay. It would serve him better to follow the good evidence before reaching any definitive conclusions on any issue. A person in his position, must avoid making emotional conclusions based on emptiness.
