Prophet Nigel Gaisie had earlier predicted that Wontumi will become NPP national chairman
A 2026 prophecy by the founder and leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has resurfaced online, sparking discussions among social media users following the withdrawal of Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, from the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Chairmanship race.
The prophecy, which has been circulating on social media, captures Prophet Nigel Gaisie predicting that Chairman Wontumi would become the next National Chairman of the NPP.
The prophecy has gained renewed attention days after Wontumi, who is currently serving a 15-year prison sentence over mining-related offences, reportedly withdrew from the NPP’s National Chairmanship race.
Some social media users have since shared the video and expressed varying views about the prophecy and Wontumi’s decision to withdraw from the contest.
Prophet Nigel Gaisie made the prediction while speaking about what he claimed was a revelation from God concerning Ghana’s next president after President John Dramani Mahama.
Wontumi will be NPP’s next National Chairman – Nigel Gaisie prophesies
According to the prophet, he already knows who will succeed President Mahama but would not disclose the person’s identity at the time because of the sensitivity of the revelation.
“So far, I know who, by the mercies of God, will be the president of the Republic, but time is a factor. He (God) has already shown me who the next president is. When the time is due, I will announce it to the nation,” he said.
He subsequently spoke about his alleged revelation concerning the NPP’s leadership, stating that Chairman Wontumi would become the party’s next National Chairman.
“What I have seen as of yesterday is that Chairman Wontumi would be their (the NPP’s) next National Chairman,” he said.

Now Wontumi is in prison, and he's not even contesting to be national chairman. Which god showed him that vision? https://t.co/FdT7zz5LEN
