There's no doubt that you are a Ga with regards to your name Oko. I mean no disrespect but a lot of you don't travel even madina some of you don't know there. But if I you have found yourself in a remote area where the only car there is that scrap car you are talking about and you have no option than to board it you will understand. Am not opposing the move but Ghana has not gotten to that era where some of this things should be mandatory. Look at the nature of most of our nation roads, are they worthy of our vehicles. So the focus should be fixing our roads not to produce a video of the vehicle being inspected because if the roads are not in good shape even if you bring a brand new car it'll still be scrapped in the next few years.

If drivers are demanding for roads to be fixed which is evident that is being done, then they also have a responsibility to make sure their vehicles are roadworthy. He who demands equity must also come with clean hands.

Is this a joke ?? Even when I go to DVLA for my roadworthiness , nothing is even checked. Better start good maintenance of the roads here in Ghana , a car in 100 % condition will be destroyed before the end of the day.....

The end result undoubtedly will be more accidents and death. Imagine driving on a bad road with worn brakes = imminent danger.
By implementing a structured inspection systems, one of the risks will be reduced for certain. Why this is difficult to understand is strange. Politics in everything, oh no.
