It is a sad story to read. It is important to note that water is an economic resources with economic value. GWCL is not being run as an enterprise. The reason being that the service operator is only accountable to our sovereign nation Ghana (Sole Shareholder). If it was someone's business, you could see the profit that will be declared. Managing a company such as GWCL is not a rocket science but requires discipline, dedicated personnel, proper procurement system to avoid over invoicing for asset, etc. How can you run a business with technical and commercial of approximately 51%. Hmmmm
