So sad! But why hang onto such a moving machine. I've seen youngsters hanging into moving DRIP machines in my area. It's like a show off. Well!!!

I cry for our youth but whom do we blame. Is it the politician, our parents, the youth themselves or the entire society. By our ignorance, our people perish

May his soul rest in peace. Its no as a result of the age of he worker, but due to being playful on the job. My elder brother was a labourer at the Job 600 at the age of 16.
He worked safely until the job was over, though there were some accidents at the site, concerning some workers falling down and loosing their lives.
The law does not classified accidents involving workers at worksite as a criminal thing.
Workmen's Compensation will take care of that.

Last month or so, a similar thing happened in the Volta Region when a lady working on a road construction site like this was killed in a similar fashion.
The contractors are taking the lives of the workers for granted. No safety measures, no safety PPEs, and no education and sensitization on work site safety.
The picture of this boy, shirtless with no helmet a a construction site is very disturbing.
