The nation wreckers NPP hates anything good for Ghana. A soldier who illegally brutalises civilians and a minister who happens to be the MP for the area repriminding the soldier is such a bad news for the NPP that, they are calling for a retaliation. I will say it again, the NPP is a security threat and it is high time the government saw them as such. The NPP is not a political party, it is a bunch of criminals whose main goal is to disrupt all activities of the government and cause chaos in the country. Ghanaians are making it clear to them that they will fight them tooth and nail, after all you are a mini tiny minority party, with only over 30 per cent support. I speak as an independent but I want to government to continue so that Gjanaians will have the chance to judge them at the end of their term. Any attempt to disrupt this process will be fiercely resisted.

This your foolishness has gone for decades. The Ashaiman case, where hundreds of innocent people who had no inkling on what had happened to the young soldier were abuse and assaulted and some were forced to drink muddy water from the ground, yet you could not even find the suspects in that case by your stupid actions, is still fresh in our memories. At the end, you were not even decent and humble enough to render proper apology to those victims.

There have been incidents in which a soldier will go to town and get into a one-on-one fight a civilian (bcuz you like to bully and intimidate citizens with your uniforms) and get thoroughly whopped. Then he'll go get his stupid colleagues to come and assault everyone they encounter in that community, including bedridden elderly men and women as well as day old babies. When you were sent into the bush to help stop galamsey, you turned yourselves into bribe kingpins and bribe leeches and failed to do the job. You cannot continue with your abuses and foolishness and impunity and expect everyone to keep quiet. This is not the 1960s and 70s. Wɔmfa hɔn nkwasiasɛm mfiri yɛn do. Yɛabrɛ hɔn.

But I beg the soldiers not to beat him again. Even i disagreed with his approach to the matter in public. Should know better because; he himself and military are one. He should have referred the issue to his colleague defence minister first but you don't go to cure wrong doing by doing wrong thing and turn around to report the issue to him.

If I were the defence minister I will be brutally honest with him when he brings the matter. All sector ministers work under the authority of the president, so if something happens in your constituency and you are not happy with it, common sense demands that you look for the sector minister to resolve it peacefully.

But always in the media for little little things of this nature doesn't help your party.

This is not only disrespecful to the statutory law enforcement agency, madated to deal with civilians in the district, but a recipe for chaos. Even some people sent to jail appeal and get their convictions overturned, not to talk of someone who has not even been taken to court being referred to as a thief, by no bugabuga person like me but a lawyer. Is this what he learnt in the law school or he has soon forgotten what he was taught? If the latter is the case, then I'm sorry for his clients because they're in big trouble. Don't you, Honourable Sam George, see that it is a misnomer for you to be addressed as honourable when you don't appear to deserve that address? An honourable person doesn't exhibit the type of anger and emotion you exhibited towards the officer. Do you think the officer kept quiet throughout because he saw you too big for him to contend with? No, he did so because he's from a very disciplined profession, unlike perhaps your parliament where some members can even throw blows like primary school children. No wonder you probably tried in vain to invite the military officer to your uncouth, dirty, indisciplined, backward and uncivilised 'street law' but the officer being above your class when it comes to discipline, avoided the temptation. If you care to know, it takes more to become a Ghana Armed Forces Lieutenant than it does to become a member of parliament. Apart from the educational qualification that both of you may require university degrees, it's not possible for the constituents to screen an MP before voting for the person. That cannot be said of the officer who again goes through vigorous periods of training, both physically and educationally. The discipline instilled in the officer Honourable Sam George ignorantly denigrated, perhaps no member of parliament has the opportunity or privilege of having a modicum, an iota of such discipline before going to sit in parliament as a parliamentarian. Perhaps Honourable Sam George has forgotten that there are Senior Lawyers, Medical Doctors, PhD Holders, and all professions whose members are in military uniform. He doesn't measure in anyway to any of them academically. His Excellency the President gave you the Ministerial appointment but with a blink of an eye the appointment can be taken away from you and that is not the case in the officer's rank. He will wear it and barring any negative circumstances, he will be promoted to the highest rank in the military. Unfortunately for you, your unbridled anger and uncontrolled emotions cannot let you rise to ever be voted for as a president unless you work on those two political weaknesses. You were deceiving your constituents that next time the officer comes there, they will use the law of the street to face him. That's a blatant lie. I suggest that day, you should be brave enough to lead the people instead of sitting in the comfort of your office or house and sending them out to practicalize the law of the street, or do well to let your relatives join in the implementation of that law. No officer, I repeat, no officer of Ghana Armed Forces will go out with soldiers to do the type of operation they did without authorization from Military High Command or at least, without an order from the officer's unit. When you got whatever report from whoever about the officer doing the wrong thing, you should have contacted his unit or the Defence Minister to ascertain if the soldiers were there on an authorised duty or not, before engaging in that disgusting, dirty, disgraceful, uncouth, backward, indisciplined, naïve and uncivilised conduct.

This so-called Commander General should understand that Ghana is not under any military rule where the soldier thinks he can kill and walk away without questions being asked. Such behavior invites hatred towards the military which should not be because the soldiers are part of Ghana.

If you're brave enough when the day comes for any authorised military operation there again, do well to go and be part of the street law just to assist the people there. Don't hide in your house and be encouraging other people to do the wrong thing. Supposing the officer did the wrong thing, was he supposed to be arrested or verbally attacked the way he was? It's not every officer who will patiently swallow this type of attack, if you don't know.

We have pampered these do-for-nothing barracks fools as if Ghana came from inside their boots. I was raised in the barrack that is the Weija Barrack or Field Engineers Regiments. Their military number is 48. Yes, if you see any military vehicle with No.48 that is where it is. While I am not bragging, I am telling you that the military should know their boundary because the days of stupid coups are no more and I wish the military can be scrapped because they are being paid for nothing.

If the Ghanaian solider used brute force on the helpless civilian, it is then he/she feels a soldier. That is the thinking of sore loser soldier. The so-called "Commander General" is nothing but a fool. He feels entitle as if Ghana belongs to the soldiers.
