This is nothing to panic about. The targets were set based on an objective assessment of the economic environment. But we also know that the environment is not static. So I expect that Ministry of Finance, BOG and Goldbod will keep their eyes on the ball, as they always do, and manage the situation to the best of their ability. It is for periodic disturbances that the 15- month import cover is being worked on. Not to panic. Let's press on with pragmatism.

Using a single commodity-gold- is not prident, in my opinion to achieve these targets set. Multi commodity basket capable of withstabding shocks will be a better approach
