He slept in that office, virtually did nothing and now in the outside making noises. Under his nose, the AG department lost cases upon cases. This man should better stop blowing hot air.

The problem is Ghanaians hate “whistle blowers” and one who WILL stand up for the country. They refer to confident and dynamic individuals as arrogant, too known etc., and for Ghanaians the best attributes of a leader is soft, “asomdwehene”, humble and turning the other way when the leader sees corruption going down. It is evident from who they have been electing as leaders, and that is why the country is not progressing. The likes of Amidu are hated and seen as the enemy, because they are seen as “rabble rousers” who disturb the status quo.

The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

In ORDINARY TIMES and in ORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES, one would only suggest that the Attorney General RECUSE herself from ALL PROCEEDINGS re The WOYOME Matter. But these are NOT Ordinary Times or Circumstances. Our Country is Broke, from what we are hearing, and before we WIPE the DUST off the BEGGING CUP and GO ABEGGING, it is very essential that we send signals to our would be benefactors that we have our hands clean to sit at their table and partake their taxpayers' money.

If, indeed, The A-G's firm represented the interests of any of the parties against whom Government is laying claims, the first question to consider is whether or not a FULL DISCLOSURE of the representation and the nature of it was made at the time the A-G was vetted. The next question to consider would be whether or not the nature of the disclosure was as such that the A-G was not ETHICALLY bound to speak to issues bordering on PRIVILEGED Information.

The A-G could NOT violate a Client's CONFIDENTIALITY and get away with it. It is a clear violation of the ETHICS of the Profession.

The A-G could not also be seen to be prosecuting a client she represented in the past. To what extent will she use Privileged Information she learned during the representation? Will she disregard any such information that discredits the client? And if so, will she be serving the BEST INTEREST of the Govt and the Ghanaian people?

Even if the A-G is able to RISE above herself and proceed to successfully prosecute this matter, she will NEVER overcome the ETHICAL HURDLES that I see here.

The fact that the client liquidated in Ghana is not comforting to the ETHICS of the Legal Profession that confront the A-G. Especially so when the Supreme Court has admonished the A-G's Department "To Make Sure Austro-Invest Do Not Go Unpunished".

I think the A-G Must RESIGN.

This is NOT a POLITICAL ISSUE. It Is AN ETHICAL ISSUE that GOES TO THE APPEARANCE OF IMPROPRIETY and POTENTIAL IMPROPRIETY

It seems to me like Amidu's mission is to score points against the ndc for dismissing him from office for incompetence.Is he now trying to clean the mess he created as attorney general when he was in the ndc's government as the chief law officer?.I don’t know in which capacity he wants the court to grant the declaration though he claims he is there as a public spirit citizen.Has he passed the sufficient interest test to enable him proceed with the review.I doubt whether he has standing for the review he is seeking.I am at a lost as to whether he is appealing against the judgement or just there as a meddlesome litigant or crank who wants his fifteen minutes of fame.His attack on the new AG shows his level of vendetta against the ndc.At present he has the support of Ayikoi Otu and co willing him on to do their dirty work for them but if he doesn’t take time it will backfire on him.
