The NPP are displaying so much brain laziness and moving in the wrong direction just as Mr Kwame Pianim had said . They are wrongly thinking that the petition they have sent to the Supreme Court will result in unseating President Mahama and Akufo Addo to become president. First of all, the evidence they are praising to the heavens, is nothing but illusions. In their petition, they are seeking the cancellation of more than 3 million valid votes in President Mahama’s strongholds to make Nana Akufo Addo the winner. By this they are shamefully claiming Akufo Addo had actually won the election by more than 60%. Even Rawlings could not win by 60% in 1996.
They are really thinking the Supreme Court panellists, are as brain lazy as they to rule in their favour. Nothing can be as dangerous to the fate of Ghana as the Supreme Court overturning the verdict of the Electoral Commission when there is no evidence for that. The Electoral Commission has conducted an election all the numerous observers and the media both local and international described as free, fair and transparent and was won by President Mahama.
It will be a disaster for the entire country including the Supreme Court and NPP if the Supreme Court accepts NPP’s illogical claims and attempts to overturn the Electoral Commission’s verdict. For NPP to think that, the Supreme Court Judges would like this country to descend into an abyss, shows how unreasonable they can be. At the end of the day, they will have to humbly accept Kwame Pianim’s advice to boldly accept defeat in the election and start planning towards 2016.

The King of Ashanti in his wisdom saw what could be the event out of election and arranged a peace counsel occasion where all political flag bearers where made to sign a peace pact, why the refusal of some persons not to retreat for peace to prevail. I am only worried that my party is cracking. the party is bigger than the individual indeed and something wise must be done to save the party. we sympathizers of the party and now loosing our love, I can say that this trend of events , party members attaching themselves is very dangerous. thanks.

Never in our contemporary history has a candidate won the presidential elections but failed to win the parliamentary elections. NPP want to prove something which any researcher in our politics has not come out with as yet.
Anybody who does a trend analysis of our election results from 1992 will come out with an undeniable position that the candidate who wins the presidential elections also wins the parliamentary elections. Our people usually vote on the same line for the presidential as well as the parliamentary.In 2008 as well as 2012, NPP won only 2 regions out of 10 and claimed they have won the elections. This is very difficult to understand. My 5 years university education at the School of Administration has not made it easy for my understanding and I want people from the NPP family to educate me better than Mr Takyi Asiedu who taught me Quantitatives in SOA.
Anyway, strange things happen in our courts so NPP can hope for an over turn of the E.Cs decision.
I have recently declined to say anything about the election results because the NDC has always shown ingratitude to those who fight on their behalf. Once the president has chosen his supposedly competent team, I guess these people are good enough to carry on the fight. We can take some rest from this intellectual debates in the attempt to shape the thoughts of the people.
