The press should as a matter important and of urgency put a stop on politicizing everything and seriously focus on matters of substance and issues that affects our dead country.

Let's for instance take advantage of Bawumia's unfortunate accident and those pathetic ones that has unfortunately claimed thousands of lives to focus and discuss possible ways about our bad death trapped roads, incompetent and uneducated drivers, road-worthless cars applying our roads with worn out tyres, bad and ill equipped hospitals, lack of ambulances and the unbearable social economic problems couple with youth unemployment and all that.

Let's once be serious as people and think deep!

1. We were told last week that Tetteh was the name of the driver of the ambulance that was waiting for Dr Bawumia at Kotoka Airport on the day of the accident. But now we hear that this Tetteh man was the expert from MTTU who went to inspect the mangled wreck.
2. Last week, we were told that it was the office of Dr Bawumia who disclosed the whereabouts of the vehicle to the police. But this article seems to imply that the police found the vehicle through their own deligence!
3. Dr Bawumia and Sir John both claim that since the accident they have been in constant touch with the police in the North. So it is not correct when this article seem to claim that Dr Bawumiah has now surrended himself to the police authorities! Sir John seemed to imply that the case was in the hands of the Northern Regional Police command, and had not yet reached the level requiring the involvement of the gurus in Accra, and that is exactly what Dr Bawumiah is saying here. So the headline here is just to cause sensation without carrying any merit.

Our media men must learn to tell us just the truth, and nothing but the truth. They are the cause of all the unhealthy droppings in the air. The sooner they learned to do their job well, the better it would be for us all. God save Ghana!

Under what authority was the "decision to move the vehicle". Surely once an accident has been reported, the police MTTU unit is supposed to take over the investigation AT THE SCENE and the vehicle (s) involved are under the auspices of the police UNTIL the investigations are fully over.

First of all, why did it take them 1 hr to report the accident? Secodnd, who managed to influence/lean on the police to allow them to move the vehicle from the scene of the accident and did 'money change hands' to allow that to happen? Bawumia and his group have clearly broken the law and this is serious. They seem to be bent on covering their tracks and lying to cover their initial errors.

It is shameful that we have this state of affairs, especially on top of which a leading member of he Bawumia's party has the nerve to accuse others of planning the accidnet and "plotting to eliminate Bawumia".

I find it rather dodgy that after more than 1 week they come out with a press release on the issue. Is this how they expect to conduct themselves and are these the people who want to run the country? In this way? Taking the law into their own hands? Are they above the law? Simply unacceptable!
