I do not under estimate the need for protection for Dr Bawumia as a key witness in the ongoing presidential petition, ex-VP candidate of NPP as well as potential VP if the petition succeeds. However, I thought that protection was critical just before the hearing started. Now that his major work as key witness for the petitioners at the hearing is almost completed, why is 24 hour protection necessary? Will that be at the cost of the state or NPP since as at now he is just a citizen as most Ghanaians? I hope no harm befalls on him after escaping unhurt from the serious car accident.

Of course key people should be afforded the necessary security they need for their own protection. Do you recall that a national security detail was tailing this same Bawumia's vehicle not too long ago and he and his mates decided to 'make a run for it'resulting in a serious road accident for which they tried to 'cover up'? Where were you then? Did you (and your party) recognise the importance of security protection then? Did you praise or condemn the same security services? Since when did you realise how important it is to protect Bawumia?

So you see my friend, commonsense is always the best way of doing things and rather than accuse security services (and the government falsely) it is always better to work with them to provide the security we all need. By the way I am sure the security services are already providing him security but from a distance, just as you are being looked after in case you do not know.

My worry is actually in your statement which I am wondering if it is a 'veiled threat' that you (or your party) will cause chaos in the country were anything (and God forbid) untoward to happen to your star witness (and Afriyie's little god). I don't know how John Mahama felt after today's court proceedings. This was a disaster for the EC/NDC/Mahama defense.

Tsikata has successfully damage their case permenantly and bolstered the petionners case. In short, he has made the petitioners case stronger in the eyyes of all Ghanaians including the justices.

How on earth can justices over and over again remind Tstatsu about the irrevancy of his questioning reason with him when a verdict is to be passed?

THE PETIONNERS HAVE WON THE CASE! Ghanaians should prepare a verdict calling for a re-run or an outright Nana presidency.

Nana Akufo-Addo's aim of having Dr. Bawumia as his running mate is not for nothing! Nana believes in the youth; intelligent and clever people to help lift our nation's image high. Prez. Kuffour in his wisdom appointed him at Bank of Ghana, as deputy governor.

Bawumia now has grasped our economic situation, kind of he's diagnosed Ghana's economic situation and knows the right kind of remedy to make things better for us all. This is a fact that the NDC or any other party or Ghanaian cannot dispute.

Teamed up with other entellectuals, Dr. Bawumia will make our nation great and strong, once again, just as our great ancestors wished for our beloved nation. We must be thankful to our Mighty Lord for giving Ghana such a gift, in the person of Dr. Bawumia.

Mr. Annor-Dompreh's concern is nothing out of the ordinary. The MP for Nsawam/Adoagyiri is right to request for proper security for our learned Doctor; Ghanaian CANNOT afford to lose him. Meanwhile, I believe that every progressive Ghanaian must commit to pray for the lives of the family of Dr. Bawumia.

I also believe that same kind of prayers must be held for our Noble Justices at the Supreme Court. They've done a great job, esp. hearing about their resolve to have full control of the court hearing, by stern instruction, when things seemed to go out of hand. People must give our Justices a lot of respect; without them, there will be no democracy and no rule of law, in Ghana.

Greetings to the Nobleman, Nana Akufo-Addo & Co., for their courage and will to bring to the court, the kind of rot that has been killing our democracy, without resistance. A whole new chapter has been opened in our Democratic governance. No more "tiiif-tiiif" in our elections. May God bless our Homeland Ghana. Amen!

The man i know, if NPP did not have a case against EC he would never have allowed NPP to bring this lawsuit against the EC. He would have been the first person to tell Nana Akuffo Addo to accept defeat if he felt there was no rigging. The man Bawumia is so brilliant and so full of integrity he's beyond anything petty. I'm glad i allowed him to mentor me and learn from him. When this man opened his brain box to me, i said:"Wow, is there no limit to this man knowledge". I was just mesmerized. He's one of a kind. The good Lord blessed him with everything--Knowledge, wisdom, humility, integrity, humor, benevolence , and above all, the looks to go with it. He's a Presidential material as i found out in the Mid-nineties and i'm glad many Ghanaians have made the same observation now.
