Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. This is total nonsense. He has served his time for contempt. Does that mean he cannot say he was unfairly treated? Who in that capacity will sing praise songs for his incarceration. So long as his statements do not impugn the SC but expresses how he has been "Unfairly treated", this is no contempt of court. How many precedents of such statements against rulings of courts have we not have in Ghana.
The SC must be respected at all times but we do not need to make it a kind of scarecrow. We are not in North Korea or Red China.

Information reaching Adom News indicates that a set of twin babies have been delivered into a public toilet at Ntsin, near Cape Coast Castel in the Central Region.

Adom News Central Regional Correspondent, Kafui Justice, reported that the incident happened at about 2.50pm today.

The operator of that public toilet, Maame Esi Fynba, told Kafui Justice the babies were discovered by another visitor to the toilet minutes after a teenage girl had visited the toilet and left.

But Maame Fynba could not confirm whether the young lady suspected to have delivered the babies into the pit was pregnant.

The babies are said to have sunk into the latrine pit, and the particular pit is smeared with the blood of the supposed mother.

Reports say the police have been informed, but as at the time of going to press, they had still not showed up.

Meanwhile, reliable sources say that area is awash with teenage pregnancy.

Moreover, his own lawyer has advised him of this so he should be smart and take that advice until the hearing is over and then he can write or say whateve he wants. The Law allows you to criticise the decisions of the supreme court, but you are not allowed to insult the Panel of judges sitting on the case. This is the same in any Democracy. All that 'wrangling' prior to the election, is owned by Nana, if he wants to call himself, a LEADER. The pretense of 'see no evil, hear no evil' works against LEADERSHIP qualities; a leader's responsibility lives in a 24*7 time slot.
Nana mentality is an 'old-fashioned' flavor; it does not tick, and it does not work in this environment; this is a 'red flag' to help him wind down in his thoughts of becoming a PRESIDENT. It is SUICIDAL, the longer the lives in him! Pitching one tribe against another is a recipe of DISASTER. And the 'small' attack squad under his leadership is no longer a secrecy; passing on the touch would help in the NPP unification, and so ends the confusion on the KOOKOASE talking heads, the likes of the Kuranchies'!

It did not work in Koranchie's case; for a start the court could not convince him of his crime, but convicted him all the same. He is still not accepting that he did anything wrong, just as most ordinary people are still not satisfied with his conviction, except the court and half of the legal orofession.
Before the court takes any further action and ensure the sustenance of our democracy, the judges themselves should perfect their act, and ensure they are seen to fair. There are counsel before the court presently who behave as if they are directing the cause of the present case, Since the beginning of the hearing, they are perceived to be using words and actions before the court which do not sit well with the ordinary lay man, but the court has turned blind eyes and deaf ears to all that contemptipus behaviour. However other counsel are heavily repremanded whenever they get up to address the court, whatever they say. Justice demands fairness!
So, my Lords, endeavour to convince us all with your pronouncements when taking these tough actions in the name of justice. Nobody would want to incite Ken Koranchie to misbehave, but the judges should be circumspect in their actions and decisions.

If you are not happy, you take legally acceptable steps using the courts. Those are the rules in any civilised society. Therefore, Ghanaians including yourself need to stop trying to "teach" Judges how to do their jobs. There are alot of other things commentors can spend their time on. Start by commenting on the filth in your own neighbourhood.Judges are highly trained professionals, tasked with high responsibilities. Almost all of their "Critics" (Editors, political party executives, Highly placed men/women in society etc are mostly INCOMPETENT to judge the judge.

Is Kuranchie seeking to become a journalistic hero or martyr? We all know it is heroic for Journalists to stand up to an establishment, especially, a dictatorial one, to demand justice or appropriate democratic rights.

But in this case, is the SC not about bringing order and protecting the sanctity of the Court ? Freedom unfettered and unreasonably let aloof could lead to perilous chaos. This is why Kuranchie cannot claim to be any hero in the Contempt Charge saga. He was not unduly singled out for incarceration. He was given a platform to justify and defend his actions. But his Attorney erroneously led him to be unrepentant. That led him to Jail. There is no heroism in foolhardiness. And I hope Kuranchie would be wise enough to temper his zeal with pragmatism, and not carried away by the unconditional loud cheering of his Party's supporters.

Isn't it common knowledge that NDC are the worst offenders when it comes to this subject, except that many of your people, including Mahama, who made more reckless, very contemptuous utterances were left on the hook or given a milder punishment because of Atuguba's glaringly biased position. Has Kuranchie no right to freedom of expression? Atuguba must stop this nonsensical, diversionary tactics and rather deal with the substantive case before them. Ghanaians have waited for far too long and are more than itching to hear the court's final verdict on the election petition, which has shown that the petitioners were not kidding but had a strong and genuine case to contest. Now why is every speech being interpreted as contempt of court, particularly when it's coming from people affiliated to NPP? Dirty mouths, be reminded that Rawlings' infamous and dictatorial PNDC/AFRC, now turned NDC, regime is not with us anymore.

Kuranchie says he has no regrets for the comments he made that landed him in prison. You sore gossips, if he has to go back to prison, he doesn't share his skin with anybody. What are your problems and worries? NDC, mind your own business, be putting pressure on your corrupt, ideas-lacking, archaic-minded leaders to exert their energies on making pragmatic efforts and applying modernised methods, at least to save Ghana from the present doldrums. Don't you see that Mahama's rule is a typical case of Sodom and Gomorrha, marked by very incessant, horrendous and mindboggling events? There's a complete state of anarchy everywhere. Fires are gutting homes, markets, factories, etc by the day. The NDC think these are mere accidents?
