He said: "we have no right to call ourselves civilized people.”. In his view, Ken Kuranchie, Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Searchlight, explained his 10-day prison experience after being declared contemptuous of court following a publication in his newspaper, said: "Ghanaians have no right to call themselves “civilized people” end of quote.

E: "TWO FACE PEOPLE"...(they smile with you, at same time stabbed you at the back, especially if you are a Nigerian). Who need an enemy if you have a "typical Ghanaian" as a friend?

When it first broke. The statement supposedly given to police by that enstranged partner, Nancy Nyakotey, was riddledwith too many inconsistencies. How could a grown up like hwer not be familiar with location of her own mother`s residence where she permanently lives? And why was her phone switched off for most part of the day when she was involved in some kind of 'business transaction' at an internet cafe, and after asking her ex to drop off their son at her mum`s residence? Why someone who could not be reached all day,according to her own mother,suddenly show up at the MP`s house with a family entourage(including Moter,brother and a taxi driver) at the same time?
I think this woman who had ditched this guy for whatever reason,was looking for some sort of a come-back/reconcilliation,which this guy, now an MP,would have none of.
Realizing that she could not have the guy back, she and her family planned this disturbance, so as to get this guy in the news.
My advice to this 'greenhorn politician' is to grow up,settle down,and focus on serving the people of his constituency. Allowing himself to get in the news for all the wrong reasons is certainly not going to advance his political career!

And if he respected himself he would not call someone he has a son with a prostitute in public. The Afram Plains South MP told the court that Nancy Nyakotey is not his wife and that he only registered a relationship with her, which is permitted under the Australian relationship code, a certificate could be issued to singles, individuals, same sex relationships and couples. So under which category did the idiot register nancy? Same sex? Individuals? Or spouse? Or doesn't the idiot know that having a child with her even without registration of the relationship makes them common law partners ? What is this imbecile doing in parliament.? Carrying other maps bags? Maybe parliamentary candidates shoul debate before being elected , so that idiots like that don't go there and disgrace their constituencies. In this article, the defendant (Appiah) acknowledged "retaliating", even though nobody had struck Appiah. Appiah appears to be the aggressor, and must explain why he should not face assault charges. A man who calls a woman with whom he has likely made love many times, resulting in the birth of a son an "Ashawao", is a disgrace to all honurable men. It is disgraceful and uncouth to spew expletives at ones lover in public. If what is reported here is true, then Appiah has very little leadership abilities and class.
