But Mr President, do not stop there. There are many deadweights in your government who are doing practically nothing except to warm seats and collect money. Those deadweights abound in the communication department, sack the bums to go and get real jobs. Again also watch the Vanderpuiye cousins. They are bigots, always stirring up tribalistic tensions. Then was this A.L. Ohene-Djan who had a Doctoral in the study of Law. He was the one other candidate with whom Justice Akuffo Addo faced the Electoral College for the Presidency during the 2nd Republic with Prof. K.A. Busia as the Prime Minister. At one time this Ohene-Djan was alleged to have committed a ritual murder and underwent trial in Ghana. Finally, he lived in the United Kingdom where he departed this earth within the last 20 years.
The stadium was clearly renamed after the most celebrated Sports Administrator ever not unbeknown in Ghana.

The Accra Mayor fits the second description, and why our president is wasting precious executive time following or leading in his apology beats my mind unless if the president knows something more about this brouhaha that the rest is us are not privy to. How long must this foolish man be allowed to perpetuate his foolishness on discerning Ghanaians? First it was the Ohene Djan stadium and because nobody called him to order, he grew wings to continue his nonsense. This time he bit more than he can chew. All the AMA assembly members who supported the Mayor in this folly must bow their heads in shame. So there was no right thinking assembly member to challenge him on this path. They all sold their conscience and followed the Mayor like sheep being led to slaughter. In ad much as I don't like JJ, at times I understand what prompted him to do what he did in time past following the revolution. There are just soo many psycophants who have found their way to leadership positions because of political affiliation instead of appointment on merit. Somebody posted that if the Accra mayor was to stand in an election with a monkey, the monkey will win. I can't help but agree with this post. Ghanaians deserve better.
