Whereas I do not endorse the name calling of Atuguba by no less a person than the general secretary of the largest opposition party, it is also equally appalling that Atuguba only seems to hear what the NPP says on radio stations and not that of the NDC.

The irksome thing is his knack of presaging his statements with comments like: I do not know this person called Sir John, I hear he comes to court....blablabla. Really, you don't know, you hear what? Then the question is why bother since you live in a cocoon? Then again, who has been sifting through news items and feeding him with what comes to him? Could it be the BNI, or other government apparatuses? Could the source which has been selecting actionable intelligence and news items for him to act on be blinded by their own political biases?

Atuguba cannot pretend he does not know who Sir John is. That is a lie and shows he is very condescending. Sir John's pronouncements when read in its entirety, against the political atmosphere, in and outside court, tinged with some distasteful jokes, were meant to encourage Atuguba to build some backbones and shed his not so-veiled adoration of Tsatsu Tsikata and allowing him to have his way over him in court. Again Atuguba comes across as deaf to the president's interjections. I am very sure if Akufo Addo had made the same comments Atuguba will have flagged him long time ago.

I have seen that picture before. Living with my step-mother many years back, I could see that any slides on my part attracted heavy condemnations and reprimands, whereas those of my half-brothers and sisters hardly attracted even a stern look. That is how the NPP feels about Atuguba's bench. Be bold Atuguba and wield the double edged-sword of justice evenly and equally. Don't be a chicken around the president and Tsatsu Tsikata, and expect the rest of us to be fearful of you. Are you kidding us? Anokwampo!

Like a thug he is, he had to order them to "STAND UP" while they were into to chambers to deliberate on the case. Not even a primary teacher will do that, but that is what happened at the supreme court. What a thug he is.

Thank God for the other judges who used their common sense and wisdom to defuse this despicable act by the thug on the supreme court

The Chief Justice need to tell Atu-bugabuga that Ghana is not a theocratic state,so he cannot visit sharia laws on citizens of Ghana who don't belong to the NDC.

And if he thinks because members of the Danquah/Dombo/Busia fraternity, unlike the NDC, do not kill judges for fun ,so he will interprete his sharia laws on them,then he shouldn't be surprised if he ends up like an idiotic lunatic like Kpegah.

We all have biases and it's understandable but, if you intend to weed out all okro mouths, make it an all out thing not just the very hated slippery ones from those you don't like. My prayers is that, this trend does not hold or be incorporated in the final decision of this case. I hold our High Court in a higher esteem based on her past record of fair decisions, and I will continue to believe she will uphold that standard before the people and the rest of the world.

He should know that he is an old man preparing for retirement, he should better retired with a good name and good record. He should be a good senior citizen that the young ones can look up to with pride and not with shame.
