I can't believe this thing had the impudence to admonish female police officers in the BA region over their uniforms. Of late I have actually confronted some police personnel in Accra about their sagging and baggy uniforms, which I had expressed to them that it made them look less intimidating and authoritative. They agreed with me. Quite frankly this IGP is extremely ignorant, because a police officers tactical uniform and dress code must almost always be stream lined or a body hugging outfit to allow stealth movement. If this IGP's mind is always in the gutter, he should not ascribe that to our lovely body type Ghanaian Female Police officers. What about the men? do they not have any such distractions with their uniforms? Freaking chauvinist. A woman has a million points of attraction on them whether they are clothed or unclothed, you cannot project your personal weaknesses on an entire institution. This is such an illogical observation from this COP(SOB). When a female police officer opens her mouth to speak to me, I get really sexually agitated, because I feel like kissing her, should I as COP require them to cover their mouths while they speak to citizens?

DO YOU HAVE TO BE INSULTING TO MAKE YOUR POINT IN A DISCUSSION??
This attitude demonstrates that you were not brought up with any manners to speak of. Just make your point in a debate of ideas without insulting anybody on tribal, racial, regional, religious or gender grounds. Ghana has a long way to go to be among civilised nations of the world. I am afraid it is all down to education but allegedly, 50.7% of the voters do not want the same free education their current leaders enjoyed under Kwame Nkrumah' visionary education policy.
What a nation to be pitied; crass ignorance or deliberate policy of keeping the population uneducated for political advantageous reasons; your guess is as good as mine.

The husband princewilly replies, “First of all, you have too many shoes as it is. Second, you shouldn’t be out shopping without panties for GHFUO to see. And third of all, I’m not going to mess with anyone who can eat that much ice cream and serious!”

Could someone kindly explain to me the meaning of this word Apuskeleke? What language is it (Ga, Akan, Ewe, Dagomba, Nzema, etc)?
I may not be wrong if I assume it means tight dress for women. If that is the case, I really do not understand the complaint of COP Adu-Poku. In the first place, do the police women sew or buy their own uniform? I thought they are supplied to them by the police authority and if so, why is he blaming the poor female officers who wear them and may be victims of those who sew the uniform? Perhaps, could it be men who are indisciplined and consider female officers in attractive uniform as inviting? If this is the case, then, the warning should go to the men rather. However, if tight uniform on the female officers is health and safety issue or prevents them from performing their duties efficiently, then that is what should be addressed.

Most uniform in the service professions are standard issues to service personnel so it is up to you the individual to take the uniform to the service tailor/seamstress to alter it to fit your size. This is how it is done in the army, navy, airforce, police etc. There is nothing more pleasing on the eye than a smartly dressed service personnel that happens to be a female. COP Adu-Poku should leave the smart ladies alone to 'beautify' the frontline of policing.

So again she reacher behind her, lowered her zip a little more and tried to negotiate the step. But still the skirt was too tight. Determined to catch this bus, she once more reached behind her, lowered the zip a little and attempted to climb aboard. Then suddenly she felt two hands on her butt, helping her on to the bus. She turned around angrily and told the man behind her: "Sir, I don't know you' well enough for you to behave in such a manner." The man replied: "Lady, I don't know you well enough for you to unzip my fly three times either!"

Hmmmmm, come to Southern Africa (Botswana, Namibia, S/A, Swaziland & Lesotho) and see the tight pants that Police women, bankers, and other female civil servants wear to work. In this region, it's not a big deal for women , including married ones and workers to wear tight pants (trousers) and/or tight and short shirt. It's normal, if you wear loose pants you'll rather feel uncomfortable. It's their cultur! Most women here have good shape, huge thighs and big buttocks, and they dress to reveal all these figures. No wonder when I first arrived here I had problems with the way the women dressed, but now I've gotten used to it, though I'm still not comfortable but what can I say or do. Just to try and control my eyes.
