Apart from being lazy people who appoint and those appointed do not care about monies used for operations. Why? Because it is other people's money. If that were not so, Wireko Brobbey should have been held liable for importing Toys that did not generate a single watt of electricity and used other people's money to ship those toys back to the USA. BUT HE IS WALKING FREE AND THE OTHER PEOPLE ARE BEING ASKED TO PAY FOR HIS INEFFICIENCY. What a Rotten country?

They don't think outside the box! After their fat salaries and 4x4 cars, they know only enjoyment with the young kids and that's it, masters of dada ba, and sugar daddies!! The problems of our country remains basically the masses own cup of tea!!! Why so???
We should not pay our experts when they fail to match up to our expectations!!! Sad story of these experts who lack innovation!!!

There is nothing wrong with experts. The government need to use the tree wiremen to investigate whether the people get the value for paying the expects in each sector. if no, recoup their pay and replace them base on the minimum wage of Ghana. This has the effect of recouping the money and indirect warning against non performance of the new experts replacing the old.

Pratt is on the mark! To paraphrase H Salasi/Bob Marley:
"Until the philosophy which hold foreign experts superior and the locals, inferior, is finally and permanently, discredited and abandoned!. Until there are no longer political class and general class contractors of any contract...Unitl the color of a contractors party is virtually of no significance than his mark of expertise, is a war!
Unitl the basic contract rights are equally guaranteed to all without regards to politics, is a war, economic war!
Until the creation of jobs for boys who have no bearing on technique and problem solving,IS TOTALLY DESTROYED and abandoned!!! Well Ghana's economy is a WAR, its a WAR. War in the north, war down south war east, war down west!war war! Economic war.
Real professionals in Ghana have to fight! We find it necessary, cos we are confident, of a better Ghana, of moving Ghana forward, not with words, but works! FIRE!!!! pam pam pam pam, pam pam pam pam!!! war war, everywhere is war, economic war...
So help us God!

Is there a difference between the minds of Bosses at the utility companies and the Spare parts traders at Abossuo Okai? The problem in this country is that we don't give serious meaning to what we absorb or say with our minds. We want to take the easiest way out, that is do the useless comfortable things we see on TVs and movies being done by the westerners do. They think the westerners don't work or don't think more than they work?

I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE TEEMING "MAKE-SHIFT" JOURNALISTS IN THE COUNTRY AND I TIP KWESI PRATT AS THE JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR, FOR HIS HONEST AND FEARLESS REPORTING.
WHILE THE BAAKO HAS DEDICATED HIS PAPER TO PARTISAN POLITICS, AS THE MOUTH-PIECE OF NPP, PRATT THOUGH, FORMER NPP STALWART, HAS BEEN RELATIVELY FAIR AND ELOQUENT IN HIS REPORTING.
PRATT, LIKE BAAKO, IS ANALYTICALLY AND TARGETED ON ISSUES. UNTIL RECENTLY, I HAD TIPPED BAAKO AS THE JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR, BUT HIS STRONG LEANINGS TO A POLITICAL PARTY MAKES HIM BIASED AND SUBJECTIVE.
I HOPE ALL JOURNALISTS WOULD ASPIRE TO BE OBJECTIVE AND NOT SUBJECTIVE FOR THE GOOD OF THE COUNTRY.

Kwesi, you echoed what I said several times on this blog that Ghana does not necessarily need someone who has some academic degrees to hold any public office in the Country.Any smart JSS school leavers and any of our Women Sellers in the Markets could be the Minister of Finance,CEO ,or the President. You would be surprised any of them would do better when given the Chance than the lettered.
I have observed and held that view for more than 28 years now.Especially people with
Intuitive Sense Balance and Reason.
High Academic degrees devoid of Common Sense or the ability to resolve issues without a hike in prices could be dangerous to Society. Therefore it is necessary during recruitment to devised some means to measure Common Sense Capabilities of the prospective persons Selected or appointed to the public office position with the academic degrees.Or appoint or employ the Services of Someone without academic degrees but is acclaimed and Certified to have Simple
Common Sense which is not common, though
That's the way forward .Academic Degrees in Ghana had added more problems to the plight of the poor weak and vulnerable in Society
instead of making life bearable or worth living
People come out of School to get the position to make life more difficult for their own people instead of helping them
