Teachers have had it so good for even having car maintenance allowance. Other professionals in private businesses don't enjoy such privilege. Teachers now do private tutoring - as more and more parents begin to try to train their children to get on top of the economic ladder when they finish their education. Thus, all in all, teachers get more income in their profession than any other professionals in similar status. And all this, they are not satisfied. One would have thought that, being scholarly persons, they would understand the dire state of the country's economy, and so be circumspect in their demand for money from the state. Not so! Rather, they are doing the otherwise to strip the state coffer bare. Where is their sense of patriotism?!

why should the Ministry of Education wait for the teachers to go on strike for them to be called to a meeting? what are they calling them for? a little respect for workers by authorities in this country will do a lot of good ...

PROMISES WERE MADE BY PREZ. MAHAMA THE LAST TIME WHEN HE MET LEADERSHIPS OF TEACHERS, WHICH OF THOSE PROMISES WERE FULFILLED? Mr. Paul Krampah is now talking about talking about innocent pupils, about teachers creating anxiety in the country. NA WHO CAUSE AM? Would Mr. Paul Kampah have spoken the way he did if he was in the shoes of these teachers? LETS GET SERIOUS IN THIS COUNTRY, AND GET THINGS DONE PROPERLY.
