Some of us in eastern region can't understand why Nana should ignore a whole " okyehene " and rushed to "Manshia " and offered " Asantehene his highest respect and even said he respected he "Asantehene" more than that of his own grandfather and a paramount chief of Akyen Abuakwa " traditional area . Nana is a digrace to our area, he didn't bother to visit " Okyehene" who is closer to his Nana's Nima residence , from Nana' house to Kyebi , is closer than that of Manshia, but because he is arrogant, he chose to go to Manshia first. We the people of Akyen Abuakwa traditional area want to let Nana addo knows very well that we acknowledged the disrespect he showed to our Okyehene and his elders in the area, we shall respond to his call in the same measure at the right time coming 2016 election.

Mr Obeng Nyamekye, an activist and organiser for the NDC in Tarkwa Zone 9 in Kumasi, recently expressed his personal sentiments and worry about the current economic hardship in the country and called on the govt of President Rawlings to sit up and do something immediately to win back the confidence of the people.

Narrating his own story to the Pioneer, he said that matters were getting worse with the NDC supporters in his Zone. "I was nearly slapped by a woman who claimed that she was fed up with affairs as she finds life now unbearable".

"Some of us have been followers of the P/NDC for all these years and we are not seeing any ray of hope of a better future. ... I wish I could see the President personally to air my feelings", he said.
