In Africa we are being so oppressed by our own leaders,that,at times the only option left is to take up arms.
Our leaders should show leadership,they should show us they care,not by talking,but by acting.We have so much potentials in Africa,that giving the chance,it can become one of the greatest continents.
I don`t buy in,into this theory,that our weos are being caused by the West.Our own leaders are our down fall.
Look at a Country like equatorial Guinea,one of the most richest Country in West Africa,with a population under 1million,yet the people are suffering in poverty,whiles the son of the President is living like a Shik in France.Do you call this justices?

When the political oligarchs who are entrusted with the mandate of the masses to act to promote the public good for the benefit of society, abuse that trust, for their own personal and parochial interest at the expense of the generality of the masses as seen in some regions, then, societal revolt, revulsion, repulsion, sometimes bothering on violence becomes the only legitimate means available to the masses to register their displeasure at the state of affairs.
The irony of the matter is that, those who weld the power, exhibit obstinate intransigence and absolute belligerence to put the brakes on their penchant for their overburdening self interests, even when their attention are drawn to these facts, to the point of colluding and conniving with institutions to entrench the status quo. That in any society has consequences, and in a continent with a very strong, dynamic and youthful population who, because of the actions and inactions of the kleptocrats, have no means of going up the social ladder, and also, measures have not been put in place to ensure their upward mobility, then such situations would definitely have repercussions for the elected kleptocrats.
In the case of Ghana, numerous calls have been made about the security situation in the country whereby killings have become the order of the day with the youth becoming increasingly disenfranchised about the system and their elected officials to address the concerns of the masses, whilst the kleptocrats continue to employ the overbearing reach of the security apparatus of the state to intimidate and cower the masses. That most definitely is a lethal mix and a powder keg waiting to blow up. Terrorism is a consequence of kleptocracy underpinned by lack of competence and confidence in the ability of the kleptocrats to deliver. The catch is for the kleptocrats to gauge the sentiments of the masses and the wind that is blowing, to check themselves out, to forestall any untoward consequences for the generality of all. The issue is would the kleptocrats listen or they would embrace the terrorists?

For an interior minister to come out boldly to say this is tantamount to calling for it. How do you sensitise the community? By the utterances and behaviours of those held in high esteem. Their opinions matter and may well serve as sel-fulfulling prophecies. That is why policians and public servants have to be careful what they say. Learn from the President of the Republic of Ghana and choose your words carefully.

YET THEY WANT TO BE LIKE THE EUROPEANS,AMERICANS,CANADIANS,GERMANS ETC.
We always set examples like:
The year so,so and so,CANADA enacted a law to do this or that,without thinking about that,CANADA IS NOT IN AFRICA,BUT A NORTH AMERICAN COUNTRY,that operates totally different in several ways than we AFRICANS do.
Example,I am in TORONTO.
Accra,our capital(GHANA) has filth that has not been able to cleaned up,for some long time.
WE DON'T SEE SOMETHING LIKE THAT OVER HERE IN TORONTO.
Yet,we would like to present ourselves to the world as if we are like someone in TORONTO.
We have to know what matter to us the most,and find some strategies to solve the problems that sets us backwards all the time.

There's a new neo-colonialist and imperialist, who are the political cabal of thieving politicians, with their cronies and family, who would steal any and everything, whilst hospitals are without beds, water, pregnant mothers sleep on the floor, with the corrupt politicians jumping on the first flight at the expense of the toil and sweat of the downtrodden to seek the best healthcare outside the country, at the least opportunity. Education which is a very significant factor to ensure that one is able to escape the pangs of poverty and stagnation has become, a luxury of a very few, whilst these corrupt politicians send their wards to the best educational facilities outside of the country, whilst teachers, lecturers have to struggle to even get paid for their services, let alone get the requisite tools eg books and chalk to do their work. Fees are so astronomical that, parents have to borrow, take loans with high interest rates to push their wards through school, leaving little leftover for engaging in other ventures to bring in other revenue generating source, creating a vicious cycle of perpetual poverty.
Basic life requirements such as water is unavailable and has become a luxury commodity.
And all the while the corrupt politicians continue to loot the whole country dry.
It's only a fool who would say that, such a state of affairs would not breed terrorism, when the corrupt politicians terrorize the national kitty recklessly and plunder it into bonkers, and to add salt to injury, seek to intimidate the masses as well. That is calling for it and you would get it in all it's glory.
