I think that the Ghanaian President and his wife and also many of their team need expert advice on grooming. Ghana has many well-known and qualified fashion designers as well as make-up artists who can be consulted to make them look better. The contrast between the two first men and women in the picture relegates Ghana to the background considering that they are about the same ages. This must not be treated as being partisan because the image they portray of Ghana generally and in particular in this picture is not flattering. They need to invest in a non-partisan fashion consultant. If they choose to go the party way, they need someone competent and truly objective so Ghana's image can at least be at par on this level. It has a psychological impact on themselves and citizenry.

This is a disgrace to all the African Leaders going to America to spend the little resource left in their country.
Think Moyo, the article said there are fifty (50) Leaders here or coming and you know they don't travel alone, they come with their entourage. Just guesstimate the cost of each and add the total and I promise you a lot will be wasted.

Our President is supposed to stay at the Ghana Consulate in Washington, but I can promise you he will stay at a top dollar hotel. I hope somebody in Washington can prove me wrong, so I can be happy to congratulate His Excellency, President John Mahama, for caring about the people and saving a pesewa on this trip.

Now on leadership, we can assume this meeting was conceived by President Obama, President Mahama and the rest of the Leaders should have thanked President Obama and instead invite him to speak to them at their next African Union (AU) meeting. This idea could have been expanded in future years to inviting Leaders of developed nations to speak in subsequent AU meetings.

Lastly, we should start thinking about our country and stop NDC/NPP/PPP/Ashantis/Voltarians/Northeners/etc... We are all one, and we are all Ghanaians. Our politicians should by uniting us but they are our problem and until we see a change in them, we the public should continue to blame them for all the countries woes.

America proposal is a long term partisanship with entrepreneur in mind. Promoting self employment, such as farmers, IT, small scale manufacturing jobs. Having loans available to people to setup their own business, that is what makes America been America. If Chinese are building roads, dams, ports, and are employing their own people to do the job, what economy benefits are the people benefiting from it? Moreover their products are cheap, and the don't last.
