Kuffour built similar structures with 80,000 at a time when inflation was around 14.8% and under Mills it was 240,000 at a rate of 8.8%. And these buffoons turn around to blame the fall of the cedi on some mysterious dwarfs. I don't blame those African countries that have been ripped apart by civil unrest because if you have such buffoons in power who always turn our local elections into a West Africa one

Even if this car was purchased legitimately by her husband, it is totally out of place and lacking in judgement and discretion for a deputy minister of state, in these times of economic crisis, to throw a party in a public venue and react to the media's report in this boastful tone. That amounts to "rubbing it in the noses of suffering Ghanaians". As a deputy minister, you are there to serve your country and identify with people facing hardships. You must be sensitive to how people feel and not to boast about your success publicly. This party could have been done at a private and discreet location and presenting a car could have been done quietly. When you are a minister of state, you can't just do things any how you want. There are sacrifices you have to make. I don't think this woman has the right mentality to be in this office.

Can you tell us how much they make instead of just saying they don't make much which is typical Ghanaian way of doing things?
That said, it is not our business how anybody celebrates her birthday but it is morally wrong for this lady to have that kind of birthday in public and be arrogant about it asking a newspaper why they wrote about it when she made them to know it because of the wealth displayed there and she and the husband should be ashamed of themselves.
That doctor who wants the whole world to know how rich he is may even have family members who can hardly afford a day's meal and the people of his village may not even have common running water but he chose to throw $120,000 in pussy that he hardly enjoy.

Now, a doctor in Jamaica, how do they meet on Facebook or through somebody or they were classmates?
Since she is a public figure that decided to make her private life public she needs to explain all the above questions to us.

I got tired of everybody asking me....And where is your car? sometimes they ,even,make it seem as though you are falling. In other words, BROKE! What is it all about cars in Ghana. Deputy Minister for Works and Housing Hannah Bissiw gave travelers at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) the shock of their lives recently when she created a scene at the Ghana’s only international airport last week.

The Deputy Minister had gone to the airport to seize the passport of one Odeefuo Richard Waye to prevent him from travelling outside Ghana because of dispute between the two of them over monies reputed to be running into the millions of dollars.

One version of the allegations doing the rounds is that the Deputy Minster has parked over a million dollars in the accounts of the Man of God, because they allegedly have a longstanding amorous relationship. But with the man of God traveling out of the jurisdiction, the Deputy Minster was afraid that that would be the last time she sees any of her dollars.

But speaking to Richard Waye, who lives at DuayawNkwanta, Hannah Bissiw had requested him to allow her to park a sum of about $9 million dollars into his account, a demand the man of God said he had refused to comply with, leading to the animosity between him and the Deputy Minister for Works and Housing.

According to Waye, the Deputy Minister had called him on phone to threaten him after he had refused to allow her transfer the gargantuan sum of money into his account.

According to Daniel Waye, he was the one who prophesied that she will become a Minster and he has always prayed for her in all her endeavors.

Pastor Richard Waye told the Daily Searchlight that Hannah Bissiw told him thus, “The money is too big and if I put it in my account they will suspect it so I want to transfer it to your account.”

Pastor Waye said that after Hannah Bissiw seized his passport, he, together with the DuayawNkwanta Presby District Pastor went to Hannah Bissiw to plead for his passport to be given back to him, but according to our source Hananah Bissiw did not even look at them and told the policemen guarding her at her house to drag them out of the house.

Odeifoo Richard Waye told this paper that he had known Hannah Bissiw, the Deputy Minister for Works and Housing for close to 9 years and he was shocked to the teeth when the Minster started acting rudely towards him.

“I am a man of God and led many people, so it will be unfair for me to allow myself to be used to cover a deal that contravenes the principles of God. Also when I do that God’s angriness will come upon me,” he said emotionally.

Odeifoo Richard Waye again said he does not want to stretch this matter because through the intervention of his lawyer, Mrs. Joyce Atafah, Hannah Bissiw has released the passport for them and that is what they want.

“Since I got my calling no one has ever humiliated me like this but I know with God all things are possible and if she dares to threaten me again or harass me I will bring out many issues,” said Odeifoo Richard Waye.

Deputy Minister Hannah Bissiw did not respond to several calls and text messages to her phone by our Editor in-Chief.

Does she then expect people who are suffering dire economic hardship to queue to vote for her or will she bribing them to vote for her? Spending $120.000 on a car that could have been bought half the price is not a show of richness but outright foolishness.

In times of nationally hard hit unbearable social economic problems, your village people will have been better and more grateful if half the money spent senselessly went into upgrading their poor living standard and that would have gone a long way to support your ambitious political carrier.

The honest aim of entering into politics is not for greedy material grab but for a little contribution towards social transformation of the vulnerable and ordinary people.

I challenged you to follow the example of Otumfour Nana Asantehene and donate the car to the local hospital, a school or a charitable organisation in your constituency.

She is learned, and married to equally learned man who works hard. You can not be uneducated and lazy to succeed in this modern times only to expect the government to take care of you from cradle to grave.

The public display of opulence in a country where the economy is tanking, and people are demonstrating against the government for the poor economy, is a display of insensitivity and complete lack of political common-sense that should not be tolerated.
