What taxes?...you pay tax only for the govt to use it as judgement debt.Work hard=pay legitimate tax=Govt makes bad decision=hand over all that taxes=to an undeserved pen thief=judgement debt.Got it!

Checks and fees are paid before a licence is issued to an operator. The minister's directive is simply endorsing the illegal activities of these operators. He is effectively saying you don't need a licence to operate as long as you close by 9pm. That is not smart. Shouldn't he be ensuring the operators are fit and proper persons?

It is the customers who decide the closing time. Who is the moralist to determine how people spend their useless cedis? Doesn't he have more important thing to think about. Fill those potholes first.

They are not necessarily unlicensed. They might be. The caveat is that they are not licensed to operate as nite clubs. My take is that it should not take a whole Reg Minister to announce this. I have always said we have insti ...

I have always said we have institutions. Let them work and, STOP the preaching. All the Minister had to do was to call the chief of Police and ask him why he allowed it

May be up to 9-10pm for unregistered nite club(drinking spots) and up to 2am for registered nite club that is not Sound proof.
And a Sound proof indoor club 5.30am,(till day break(TDB) is most appropriate in the 21 century G ...

What do this Minister mean by “even those that had registered as nite clubs, by law could work beyond 21.00 hours, but must Close activities by midnight". Is Mr Boasiako,alright!
As a legislator, is he not aware that he single handedly has not the right to change the above law ? I do not understand why some people take delight to throw their weight-about. Or was that instructions meant for his household/wife and children, or to the general

Unplanned an unwanted babies is more significant than sexually transmitted diseases which can be cured. Making unhealthy ugly looking babies, hen unleashing them into Accra as market women and street hawkers is a greater threat to our progress.

Yeah why must they even operate without a license? Secondly, there are 2 categories of night clubs, one closes by 2am and others at 4 am. Certain clubs in the capital close by daybreak 5am/6am, depending on the clientele and private parties. Especially those patronized by stars and celebrities, who don't have a care in the world. Naturally a small town like K'dua might not even have the need to have clubs staying past 2am.
