  When international intelligence informed the NPP government headed by Kuffour and his Dwarf Attorney General (Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo in a case with MV Benjamin and 77 parcels of cocaine in Ghana waters what did they do? These were their excuses:
  
  There is no helicopter to look for the Shipp,
  The Navy ship is not in good condition for that operation
  There is no fuel for the naval boat and also inadequate manning level to uncover MV Benjamin.
  
  All these delay tactics were employed to allow this ship to get repainted in the high seas to avoid being detected. The irony is that the Ghanaian fishermen who whose economic activities in the high sea saw this ship several times before its colour was total changed. At this time the US and the UK intelligence were relying on Ghana to arrest this cocaine loaded ship.
  
  When the alarm blew they managed to show some concern by making some skeleton arrest yet when the substance was sent to the NACOB office for keeps headed by NKRABEA EFFAH DATTERH the cocaine metamorphosed into different powder under his watch. Effah Darteh later resigns to defend the very people who were arrested in that cocaine scandal.
  
  What is even more dangerous and diabolical is the leaked message from wilkileaks, which singled out Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo as one who uses and peddle drugs. Under the guise of NPP their own parliamentarian patented the party as an association of Narcotic Pedlars.
  
  So what is the Aweengah minority leader (Mensa Kyei Bonsu) is trying to lament here?????... bi-partisan what?????? NKWASEASEM. Tell Ghanaian first whether your bearer Nana Addo is a user of the substance or not? That’s what we want to hear.

UNFORTUNATELY THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY AS WE HAVE IT NOW, HAVE, SINCE THE INTRODUCTION OF MULTIPARTY POLITICS BEEN HOUNDED BY TRIBALISM AND POLITICS. THERE ARE A LOT OF RETIRED BNI, EXTERNAL INTELLIGENCE AND ARMY INTELLIGENCE OFFICERS WITH THE ENERGY, EXPERIENCE AND COMMITMENT TO DO THE JOB. MPs, INTELLECTUALS, THE JUDICIARY AND WELL-MEANING GHANAIANS BELIEVE THEY ARE THE ONLY CORPS OR PROFESSIONALS LEFT TO DO THE JOB. ALMOST EVERY YOUNG GHANAIAN NOW IS POLITICALLY POLARIZED. BESIDES THEY CAN EASILY BE CORRUPTED AND THEREFORE CANNOT BE RELIED ON TO FIGHT THE DRUG WAR. PRESIDENT MAHAMA SHOULD PUT HIS EAR TO THE GROUND AND SAVE GHANA FROM THE DRUG MENACE.

  "The drug barons are currently targeting Ghana making us a vulnerable nation hence we must toughen our national security at all our Airports. If Ms Ametefeh has been allegedly doing such manoeuvres since 2009 goodness knows how many of such people have used this method just because of their status in society as security around such people have been relaxed. No one can be trusted when it comes to such issues any more as our security is at stake. We should not even allow the VVIP section security to be relaxed so that unscrupulous people take advantage of such freedom afforded to them in the wake of this saga".

  As for me am convince the drug barongs are already the financers of our political parties. They hide behind as businessmen and women to donate large sums of money for political activities.

  The Georgina Wood Committee out with clear recommemdations as to how to deal with individuals implicated in the MV Benjamin cocaine case. Kuffour and NPP were too timid or had no political will to deal with these individuals because of their ethnicity, societal status, party affiliation, or connections or a combination of any of the above.Some token and lakadaisical prosecution was done to save face. But as soon as NPP lost the 2008, Kuffour pardoned these self confessed drug barons and dumped the problem on the incoming NDC. Being too eager to prove that he was a caring president and set to undo all that NPP had done, the NDC "carelessly" swallowed the NPP bait and fell in the trap, by creating a condusive environment for the "concert" trial to be quashed and all the suspects including Tagor, Alhaji Abass and the notorious Policeman set free. Now who has been monitoring these suspects to see what new excapades they have started. It will not be surprising if thery have recruited and trained new curiers such as Rubby Ametefe and her friends. It is very very difficult to break away from a drug habit, whether its use or its trafficking.

Rawlings warned President Mahama to shed this his "Mr Nice Guy" posture and crack the whip even if it means against his own brother, to savwe the face of the country.
