The Ghana Navy protects our shores and the oil being transported from our shores until it is on the high seas. The Ghana Navy helped evacuate Liberian refugees during the civil war. The Ghana Navy patrols our coastline to prevent pirates and also to make their precense felt. They do all this without bragging and if they didn't you will complain if something happened. They also check ships coming into our ports an have arrested drug smugglers and folks bringing in dated fridges, etc. Also you are an idiot for suggesting they can't swim as you can't pass out of the naval academy unless you can swim. Lastly I know all this because my relative is the number 3 guy in the Ghana Navy. Next time before you write falsehoods go learn the real facts.

The ranking of Ghana Navy as the best in West Africa can be likened to a drunken man who tells his fellow drunk colleagues in a drinking bar that he had fought a lion barehanded in the past, is there anyone of them conscious enough to dispute what he said.? What equipment do Ghana Navy have to merit that ranking and what serious high seas pirates have they ever engaged in direct combat and have successfully rescued and recovered the ship and cargo or have they ever fought any high seas battle.? What is the critaria in measuringbthe rankings. Ghanaian army for all their existence have always gone on peace keeping and or support brigades who are kept as surveilance battalion to mornitor already captured territories, just as they did in Liberia ans Sierria Leone and, have never never fought a battle ever where body bags are sent home as happens in other jurisdictions. Let no one decieve us in this country; Ghanaian soldiers are cowards.
