Some people have had this problem from independence. How Ghana is presently constituted or governed must change.

When are these so called lazy Nkrumaist( courtesy professor Amoako Baah) going to be realistic and wean themselves off this pettiness and the quixotic hero worshiping? Before Nkrumah started building schools the churches were far advanced in that course. Everything thing Nkrumah did, and as a matter fact all other legitimate governments after him,, were just a copy-cut or carbon copy of what the civilized world have been doing till date. So what was the big deal building Akosombo dam or Tema Harbor and township when there were ample resources to do so and the prevailing conditions demand just that and nothing else?Even simpletons like you could have out perform Nkrumah on development of Maame Ghana judging from the fact he wasted wonna monies traveling the length and breath of Africa preaching African unity at a wrong time when most of the nations were still under the colonial regime. I could not disagree with Dr. Michael Bokor when he posited in one of his articles that Nkrumah wanted Ghana to fly in a split of a second. Nkrumah was radically aggressive and so much self opinionated that he never accepted wise counseling from anyone and would stop short of anything other than his ambition of becoming the first president of the wishful ' United States Of Africa'. Instead of thinking of resuscitating fractured and the near moribund Nkrumaist splinter groupings we have these lazy praise singers always trumpeting the over some 60 years ago achievements of their heroic brutal dictator.

A man is driving down a deserted stretch of highway, when he notices a sign out of the corner of his eye. It says Sisters of Mercy House of Prostitution 10 Miles. He thinks it was just a figment of his imagination and drives on without a second thought. Soon, he sees another sign which says Sisters of Mercy House of Prostitution 5 Miles and realizes that these signs are for real. When he drives past a third sign saying Sisters of Mercy House of Prostitution Next Right, his curiosity gets the best of him and he pulls into the drive.

On the far side of the parking lot is a somber stone building with a small sign next to the door reading SISTERS OF MERCY. He climbs the steps and rings the bell. The door is answered by a nun in a long black habit who asks "What may we do for you, my son?" He answers "I saw your signs along the highway, and was interested in possibly doing business."

"Very well, my son. Please follow me." He is led through many winding passages and is soon quite disoriented. The nun stops at a closed door, and tells the man "Please knock on this door." He does as he is told and this door is answered by another nun in a long habit and holding a tin cup. This nun instructs "Please place $50 in the cup, then go through the large wooden door at the end of this hallway." He gets $50 out of his wallet and places it in the second nun's cup.

He trots eagerly down the hall and slips through the door, pulling it shut behind him. As the door locks behind him, he finds himself back in the parking lot, facing another small sign:

Go in Peace, You Have Just Been Screwed by the Sisters of Mercy.

As well as praying directly to Jesus, the son of God, the Catholic Church approaches Mary to intercede for us through her son Jesus Christ. The Catholics also believe that as well as being the son of God, Jesus is the Word and the Word is God made flesh called Jesus or Emmanuel, meaning God is with us.
