Clearly this will bring about some suffering, but a beggar has no choice. So far as we choose to create a mess and ask the IMF to clean up after us, we'll have to obey their rules.

He said "Ghana’s hopes for an EARLY 2015 January IMF deal is unlikely" is not the same as unlikely. Whoever wrote this should go back to journalism school.

I am an npp supporter and I believe this is a lie, ndc has done a lot for Muslims, ndc introduce Islamic educatin unit which has allowed Muslims educate their children.

Any fool can predict that under 'ordinary circumstances', Goodluck Jonathan will fall from power, one way or another.

However we must consider that in all matters concerning Nigeria, discussions of or about that country cannot be done within the considerations of 'ordinary circumstances' or ordinary logic.

Again in Africa, all that a ruling party needs to do to win elections is to steal millions of dollars of the peoples money and give some of it back to them in the form of small-small hand-outs, during the campaign period and the people will again vote for them.

All that Jonathan needs to do to win the next elections is to consult his buddy-buddy President Mahama of Ghana on how democracy works in Africa. That is all.

As for this DaMina group, Im wondering whether they are just another mouthpiece for imperialist interests in Africa or what. Spio-Garbrahs son being the head of that organization, increases my suspicions

This DaMina predicted victory for Nana Akufo-Addo in 2012 in an unreliable research report. I challenged the report in an article on Ghanaweb and sent a copy to them by e-mail but no one even bothered to contact me. Any serious research organisation would have contacted me to discuss the doubts and weakness in the research report and false conclusion that they relied upon to predict victory for Nana Akufo-Addo.

I accept that no research is 100% accurate but what DaMina did in 2012 was intellectual dishonesty. It only gave Nana Akufo-Addo and NPP false hope and perhaps led them to challenge the result at the Supreme Court.
