No Laws in Ghana are strong enough to bring the perpetrators of such horrendous fraud to book. The offenders are typically untouchable, immune to prosecution and enjoy Security protection at the expense of the masses they stole from.

What is the use of setting up a parliamentary committee to probe the missing buses? The police must arrest the entire management and the whereabout of the busses will be solved within an hour.

I have said before in an earlier article in which i spoke about how my brother was dismissed from the Ghana Health Service by the Director General ,Ebenezer Appiah Denkyira ostensibly to cover corruption in Effia Nkwanta hospital.My brother who worked as a doctor there was vehemently opposed to the heinous acts of corruption in that hospital that needlessly killed patients whiles a corrupt management headed by one Dr Ntodi enrich themselves.What got my brother sacked was a bribery scandal that killed a patient because relatives could not offer a bribe of 50 ghana cedis for blood.The story was widely publicized in the media with Dr Ntodi pointing accusing fingers at my brother.He vowed to get him sacked in a management meeting and in deed connived with the top hierarchy of Ghana Health Service to sack him from work.My brother was fraudulently implicated with a mental illness and subsequently dismissed by Ebenezer Appiah Denkyira,Director General,GHS. Letters before and after his dismissal were copied to the then minister of health Alban Bagbin ironically one of the seemingly vocal voice in the fight against corruption.He was made a scapegoat to cover heinous criminal acts of corruption that killed patients in that hospital because top men seem to be involved.There are attempts to thwart his case at the Fast Track High Court which he has been fighting for the past 2 years with his life threatened a number of times.Two instances they attempted murdering him when he filed a case against Ghana Health Service in court;one was when they filled his fuel tank with salt grounding his engine.The other was when the bolts of his tires at the driver's site were slacked and replaced with the tires coming off when he was traveling to Takoradi from Accra.A letter requesting a police inquiry into his case to the PRO and subsequently to the IGP at police headquarters yielded nothing. Corruption in Ghana involve very top public servants and politicians.The majority leader Alban who is pretentiously vocal about corruption was a key member of the grand conspiracy that saw my brother sacked from the GHS just because he opposed corruption that took patients lives.He has in possession documents detailing corruption in Effia Nkwanta hospital as the then Minister of Health but sat on them.The looting is still on-going in that hospital with a critic made a scapegoat as a cover up.The only time we here about corruption is when unscrupulous high profile public servants and politicians seem not to be benefiting including the very ones who sit in parliament to make laws for us.
