The Supreme Court has given it's verdict of a number of such cases, and incidentally, a former Attorney General Martin Alamisi Benz Kaiser Amidu-Citizen Vigilante was forcefully shoved out, when he suffered a bout of consciousness and resolved to stem the tide of wanton thievery by the Mahama-led NDC gov't. It never happened and today, Ghana is in a financial and economic catastrophe and chaos. So what is Adu Asare going on about?

It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

WE HAVE NO SNOW TO DEAL WITH. NO BITTER COLD TEMPERATURE TO DEAL WITH. People who have these 80% of the year have developed their countries and made life comfortable for themselves.
WE HAVE GOLD, DIAMOND, OIL, GOOD LAND FOR FARMING, WE ARE NOT LANDLOCKED AND WE HAVE TIMBER. Every foolish person who goes into politics thinks even without any tangible contribution to the development of Ghana, deserve FREE CAR, FREE PETROL, POLICE ESCORT, FREE ACCOMMODATION, LOTS OF CASH REWARDS, A HOUSE BOY AND ANOTHER HUGE SUM OF MONEY AFTER THEIR TERM IN OFFICE FOR MAKING GHANAIANS EVEN POORER.

Our politicians just want power to amass wealth. Energy crisis occurred in 1998 when Rawlings was in power; it happened in 2007 when Kufuor was president. Mahamah is now in charge and are still experiencing power outages. This problem is beyond politics and we must think and solve this crisis once and for all.

Where I am, the Government has no monopoly over power generation, except in some cases, Nuclear Power Generation. It is private industries that do the power generation business. City corporations do get into that business too. It is not the business of the Central Government to generate power and Ghana government should not be in that business. Nana should not be demonstrating against the government but be encouraging the people to look into alternate power sources than the over half a century power source of Akosombo.
