Besides the record is clear. The Mahama-led NDC gov't is thieving the resources of the state and the evidence is there to support this position.
The Supreme Court has given it's verdict of a number of such cases, and incidentally, a former Attorney General Martin Alamisi Benz Kaiser Amidu-Citizen Vigilante was forcefully shoved out, when he suffered a bout of consciousness and resolved to stem the tide of wanton thievery by the Mahama-led NDC gov't. It never happened and today, Ghana is in a financial and economic catastrophe and chaos. So what is Adu Asare going on about?

My dear countrymen, I do not think this demonstration will change anything. We were all in this country when the NPP demonstrated against NDC under president Rawlings. Did we see any change? NDC demonstrated against President Kufour and nothing changed.In the two demonstrations I referred to, we only saw innocent defense less citizens killed or wounded. I hope and pray that no such thing happens tomorrow.
Now let us look at the real issue. Is it the protracted power issue or general economic situation? we are all in this country, when the NPP under President claimed to have grown the economy of this country almost three times in eight year. The economy of a nation has several parts of which energy is one. The question I want to ask the critics of the current government over the ailing energy sector is, did President Kufour grow the energy sector three times? We all know the answer is no. Please leave President Mahama to put in place lasting solution to the bereft energy sector. Let us not pretend. An erratic such as the one we are facing will not be solved overnight. after all it is not only NPP supporter who are feeling the nuisance of the dumsor.
