Nana Addo is not showing signs of good leadership. In the first place he should have applied common sense as a leader of the party and stop the meeting called by Fredie Blay. Every smart politician would not dabble in tenets of the party constitution to organize such a stupid meeting which had deepened the already existed cracks in the party. The way with which Blay came to justify that needless meeting smacked of arrogance. I can bet my last pessewa that the NPP will lose 2016 if things continue this way. I support nana Addo but I think he is not doing things right. Some of us will never forgive Nana Addo and his lieutenants if we lose the next general elections.
Our failure to clinch power this time round could keep us in opposition for long long time.

I have been told the Akyems are naturally vindictive,very personal ,morbidly jealous,proud and recklessly competitive.I also understand they are very in-ward looking people,imperial,domineering and extremely tribalistic.They are unforgiving,unrepentant breed of people who will relentlessly pursue one until they destroy you.They will kill you if the opportunity presents itself.A brother of mine sacked from the Ghana Health Service is an obvious victim of the Akyem mafia.His problem started with Dr Akyem Apea-Kubi as a Medical student.Dr Akyem Apea-Kubi former Eastern Regional Minister and Deputy interior Minister frustrated and subjected him to all sort of inhuman treatment at the medical school.He did every thing possible to get him sacked from the medical school by conspiring with other lecturers to serially victimize and brutalize him.He once told him he will do everything possible to sabotage him to protect his image.At the end of the day Apea-Kubi was accordingly the principal orchestrator of a conspiracy in an attempted murder by criminal recruit soldiers who appeared in his medical student hostel room at 2 am dawn but for the timely return of his room mate from Kumasi within 5 minutes of the soldiers appearing.The soldiers in a criminal move made false case of military impersonation and illegal possession of fire arms against him as a medical student at Korle bu police station.Appiah-Kubi had earlier attempted to have him jailed when he falsely accused him of appearing him of appearing at his bungalow with a gun to shoot him whiles in actual fact he never met him but his wife who had a long hearty chart with her on his husband's atrocities against him.Dr Apea-Kubi had other plans when the former Dean of University of Ghana Medical School Prof Ntim-Amposah resisted his move of having him arrested and jailed knowing his long nurtured diabolic agenda and malice against him.The soldiers criminal move on a possible murder mission was a mark of his heightened determination extreme tribal hatred and personal dislike for him.He once told him the course of clinical exams he subsequently failed him that the medical school has descended so low to the extent that even northerners supposed to be tilting lands and rearing cows can now have easy access to it.The young doctor who went trough torrid time as a house man in a grand conspiracy on account of Apea-kubi relentless pursuit of destruction was eventually sacked from the Ghana Health Service in 2012.In connivance with other Akyems at the helm of affairs; Appiah Denkyira,Director General,GHS and Chief Psychiatrist Akwasi Osei Apea-Kubi eventually achieved his aim in a grand conspiracy with others quietly in the dark.Appiah Denkyira sacked the young doctor through an indefinite suspension in less than a month at post without giving him any audience.He shameless,callously and falsely fabricated a mental illness on him by claiming he was suffering from a 'possible delusional disorder' in connivance with the Chief Psychiatrist Akwasi Osei.He then proceeded to sack the doctor through an indefinite suspension on the bases that he refused compulsory assessment and treatment.The Akyem mafia had time to trail and look for weaknesses and loopholes such as allies looking for a common enemy in the then Health Minister Alban Bagbin whom they used against his own brother.The doctor who has been sacked since 2012 suffered 2 assassination attempts when he filed a case against the GHS in Accra High Court.Even a written request to the offices of the police PRO and IGP personally submitted to police headquarters on accounts of threats to his live was met with deafening silence.It appears they have an inherent tribal hate, domineering attitude and suspicion against other tribes.It is extremely hard not to discriminate other tribes if they are suspicious and antagonistic against fellow Akans like Ashantis.Leading NPP functionaries like Nyarho Tamakloe and others have complaint about it.I personally was shocked to see Apea-kubi made a minister under an NDC government because of his lineage.His dismissal on the quiet by the late President Mills only confirm my suspicion of the usual opportunism by unsuspecting intruder.Many say he joined the NDC to gain prominence realizing he very low in the pegging order with the NPP his constituency obviously NPP strong hold.The NPP may have brilliant ideas as a political party but need to do more in embracing,respecting and tolerating other tribes to attract discerning neutral voters.Other ethnic groups like ewes and northerners odd to live in fear and trepidation of joining them because of ethnic backlash and discrimination if fellow Akans like Ashantis are complaining.It is not just in politics but in the public sector where they readily gang up against other tribes.My brother a northerner and another colleague doctor an Ewe sacking from the Ghana Health Service tells of their disdainful and discriminatory posture against other tribes on very personal and petty grounds.

Is to help Ghana or their own selfish interests? If there was a genuine need to move Ghana forward with no greater reward in mind, we would have limited suitors for mother Ghana. It's time we the people take this country back from these gangsters who have left us in shackles since Nkrumah's reign. If I was a radical voter, I will vote neither, but alas, all we have is the lesser of two evils. We need change in Africa badly.

I wonder because his quest to lead the country has always been surrounded with unfortunate situations. this man lost to jak in 1998 flag-bearership race when Ghanaians were anxiously waiting for a candidate for the npp to replace the ndc with. he lost not because jak was better but for the fear of Rawlings as out going president and the fact that he ( Rawlings) was going to do all he can to retain the ndc once Akufo Addo was the candidate. he thereafter conceded defeat and hoped for 2008 after jak's tenure. he ( Akufo Addo) again was fiercely contested by Mr Alan kash in 2007 where he won but with huge question mark????. he then led the npp into the elections a year after against proff. Mills of the ndc who had then lost twice against jak in 2000 & 2004. Akufo Addo managed to pull more votes for himself in the first round but unfortunately having minority to his disadvantage. we had to go for a second round because Akufo Addo could not hit the required fifty plus one vote to win in the first round tho he was leading. Ghanaians voted Mills having realized that Akufo Addo can not discharge smooth governance with minority in parliament. the party massively voted for him to lead them into the 2012 elections. He campaigned on his own free education policy, the woyome saga, corruption and above all, proff. Mills' ailment. Just when u and I thought that it was his turn to lead the country, the proff. died only for jm to take the mantle with fresh and energetic blood to take his party to the promise land in six months into the general elections. He ( Mahama) brought fresh energy into the campaign and went on to win Akufo Addo who had then campaign for two good years! That was a shock of my life as far as politics is concerned. The most shocking aspect of it was that, he and others went to court to challenge the result only to find Atuguba at the helm of affairs as the presiding judge and Tsatsu Tsikata as lead cancel for the ndc where both happens to be his Akufo Addo) political enemies. He humiliated himself after failing to dispute figures but technicalities.Isn't these facts shocking?

He delivered a beautiful and a heart warming acceptance speech after the supreme court has dismissed his claims to overturn Afari Gyan's declaration. He thereafter left the country for UK to reflect on his consecutive and mysterious defeats and whether to quit or continue politics which he clearly stated in his wonderful acceptance speech. He thought of a comeback after several months in hibernation when Mahama had fail to retire him from politics. While in UK, some national executive of npp who were seeking reelection in the party and also to. realize their dreams of becoming ministers in Akufo Addo led government started riding on his back for their campaign in their quest to retain power. These executives includes the then general Secretary Sir John, immediate past chairman Jake Obetsebi Lamptey and others. Political pundit warn Akufo Addo not to announce his interest to contest the flag-bearership until after the national executive elections in Tamale. He ignored the genuine advice by pundits and went ahead to declare his interest to lead the party if nominations were opened. In fact the declaration which was endorsed massively with joy by delegates at his nima residence was made a week ahead of the Tamale elections. He moved on to select his choice of candidates for delegates. As if all these were not enough, Akufo Addo went to Tamale himself to ensure his candidates victory. He received cheers massively from the delegates which gave him high hopes that his men were going to be elected. He was overwhelmingly shock in the end when the two key positions were given to his perceived internal rivals. Akufo Addo, after Tamale managed to mobilize cabal to perpetuate and also destroy Alan kyerematen to the latter. After cutting Alan to pieces and selfishly worn the flag-bearership wants to extend the same Machiavellian tactics to get rid of the chairman and the general Secretary as well The question is can Dr Amoako Tuffuor, Gabby Asare, Titus- Glover, kofi Ghana, and the Akyem caucus throw the two giants overboard? Can Akufo Addo win power with the current situation in th party? it will be unfortunate if.........
