Kofi Ameyaw it is people like you wh have contributed to Ghana being at the bottom on this Global School Survey. If you have a kofi ameyaw who can come on internet and create the impression that a Lawyer of good standing like Nana Akuffo Addo, who has held Ministerial Appointments and has qualified to be Presidential candidate as per the constitution of Ghana, and you have an Ameyaw who believes the propaganda that Nana Addo has no certificate and puts this on the internet and such a person like Ameyaw has gone through Ghana's educational; system why won't we be rated last.

Singapore had a one party state dictatorship for more than 30 years to achieve their dreams. They had "Preventive Detention Act" to contain the nation wreckers and bomb throwers. In Ghana "bomb throwers" are worshipped.

Perhaps you can explain why 60% of public school GCSE graduates can not read and write in England. And also explain why Immigrants come to your country at the age of 13, learn English as a foreign language and manage to get better grades whilst indigenous English students still fail "poto poto". By the way, UK was high up there because of the children of immigrants who teach their children at home. It is not because your Education system is better.

The fact is, who ever sanctioned the survey had some intentions. whether it's good or bad, we don't know. But here's the catch. Such surveys are psychological assault on a nation - Ghana. No pun intended, but all of a sudden you have high profile figures making comments to sympathize. There is the need to improve but, please, see beyond the `veil`. Most of these things, as much as they can help a nation take note and improve, it is intended to psychologically assualt. Meanwhile, the nation must initiate a policy by which even Pre K and above students will be taught by college graduates, and those with Masters should teach Secondary and Technical schools. Pay the graduate teachers well, too.
