Who asked Dr Danaa to take sides in a chieftaincy dispute by solely declaring the chieftaincy status of the Americans illegal. Who sent the National Security Officials to go and harass the Americans. We all know the National Security Zombis like operating under the cover of darkness( you remember the Legon Toll Booth Saga) and their hatred for dogs is unimaginable( you remember NS official threatened to shoot and kill the dogs of the software designer of UG students' election). So if the dogs of the two American citizens were killed prior to their gruesome murder you can now see those behind the killing.

Having said that, tainted lnternal politics occurs in almost all the political parties in Ghana as well as in almost all the regions.
There is howver particularities to how things happen in the upper and Northern Ghana regions when it comes to dispute resolutions. Unfortunately for the Upper and Northern Ghana regions violence is ralatively employed to resolve disputes in comparison to other regions in Ghana (indifferent of political leanings). Many such examples abound in these regions---chrieftaincy dipute, gender related disputes, inter/intra family dispute, land disputes, ethnic related disputes inter/intra party disputes etc---mostly are violently resolved.
So the big problem and fact that Ghanaians (and the Northern heavy laden current NDC government), have on their hands is the "how to tackle the community and iner/intra personal violence occurences in the Upper and Northern regions. It is a serious national security threat that has to be tackled not from the view of NDC and NPP politics or north South issues, but unfortunately life and death issues. Enough is enough.

More misery and humiliation await Bawumia, Nitiwul and the rest who are forcing themselves on a group that does not welcome them. Why are they refusing to admit that behind their backs horrible things are said about northerners? Don't they follow the social media and don't they see the horrible insults on northerners? No doubt, for their stomachs they will ignore all that!

Afoko and Bawumia should learn from Aliu's predicament. Even a messenger in Kufuor's office was more regarded than Aliu. And when it came to the presidential primaries, not a single southerner voted for Aliu! Think about that Bawumia!!!!

By the way, what did Adams Mahama (a Frafra) want in NPP? Certainly his stomach directed him there. Sadly, all he got was insults and more.

is asiedu nketia a northerner...A National Democratic Congress (NDC) member, Mr. Kwadwo Adjei, has expressed worry that the Techiman Municipal Police have not arrested anybody in connection with the case in which some young men poured acid on a supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the area.NDC

In the 2012 electioneering campaign some unidentified young men allegedly poured acid on Peter Mensah, a former New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s communication’s team member in the Techiman North constituency.

He was flown abroad for plastic surgery.

But in an interview with the GNA Mr. Adjei, a member of the NDC in Techiman said he was shocked that the police had allowed the case to die naturally.

He expressed disappointment that the police in Techiman had not invited one Kwasi Attipoe, a former NDC Techiman North Constituency executive member, who went round local FM stations in the Municipality claiming he knew the suspects who poured the acid on the victim.

“The law must be allowed to operate without political bias”, Mr. Adjei said and appealed to the Inspector General of Police to intervene so that investigations could be re-launched into the crime.

He said that if the suspects were arrested and prosecuted, it would serve as deterrent to like-minded others.

“The leadership of the NDC ought to be bold enough and allow the law to take its course on offenders by refraining from unnecessary interference”, Mr. Adjei said.

He said “violent and indiscipline NDC supporters whose activities bring the Party into reproach and disrepute must not be entertained”.

“We should not allow people to hide under the NDC, commit heinous crimes and allowed to go free. If we don’t expose these few miscreants they will spoil the good image of the NDC for us”, he said.

Mr. Adjei expressed concern that the NDC supporters in the Techiman North and Techiman South constituencies were divided into factions and that was affecting party unity.

He expressed dismay that the party leadership in the Techiman Municipality had not been able to resolve the misunderstanding between the two NDC Members of Parliament in the area and the Techiman Municipal Chief Executive.

Mr. Adjei said the situation had the potential to affect the fortunes of the party in Election 2016 and appealed to the NDC national leadership to ensure that the differences between the three important party personalities were resolved as early as possible.

When contacted Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Ankrah, the Techiman Municipal Police Commander said the Police had invited Attipoe for questioning but he (Atippoe) failed to honour the invitation.

He said the case had been transferred to the Regional Police Command.

He expressed disappointment that the police in Techiman had not invited one Kwasi Attipoe, a former NDC Techiman North Constituency executive member, who went round local FM stations in the Municipality claiming he knew the suspects who poured the acid on the victim.

“The law must be allowed to operate without political bias”, Mr. Adjei said and appealed to the Inspector General of Police to intervene so that investigations could be re-launched into the crime.

He said that if the suspects were arrested and prosecuted, it would serve as deterrent to like-minded others.

“The leadership of the NDC ought to be bold enough and allow the law to take its course on offenders by refraining from unnecessary interference”, Mr. Adjei said.

He said “violent and indiscipline NDC supporters whose activities bring the Party into reproach and disrepute must not be entertained”.

“We should not allow people to hide under the NDC, commit heinous crimes and allowed to go free. If we don’t expose these few miscreants they will spoil the good image of the NDC for us”, he said.

Mr. Adjei expressed concern that the NDC supporters in the Techiman North and Techiman South constituencies were divided into factions and that was affecting party unity.

He expressed dismay that the party leadership in the Techiman Municipality had not been able to resolve the misunderstanding between the two NDC Members of Parliament in the area and the Techiman Municipal Chief Executive.

Mr. Adjei said the situation had the potential to affect the fortunes of the party in Election 2016 and appealed to the NDC national leadership to ensure that the differences between the three important party personalities were resolved as early as possible.

When contacted Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Ankrah, the Techiman Municipal Police Commander said the Police had invited Attipoe for questioning but he (Atippoe) failed to honour the invitation.

He said the case had been transferred to the Regional Police Command.

But in an interview with the GNA Mr. Adjei, a member of the NDC in Techiman said he was shocked that the police had allowed the case to die naturally.

TECHIMAN NDC ACID ATTACK ON NPP MAN.....It's so fresh in our minds but it all happened in the run-up to the 2012 election, when Mr. Peter Mensah from Techiman in the Brong-Ahafo Region, who represented Professor Ameyaw-Akumfi at a peace talk organised by the Methodist Church, was followed by some NDC hooligans and attacked him with acid, on his way home.

The NPP party has remained resolute till now on their support for the dedicated young man.

It's clear that the NDC is a party that only believe and support violence to cling on to power. It's not a surprise to most Ghanaians, as the party was formed through bloodshed. The founder and owner of the party, John Jerry Rawlings seized power through the barrel of the gun. Innocent Ghanaians were killed by firing squad and on the streets. Families became victims of his so-called revolution through which his party the NDC was formed. No wonder a member of his party poured acid on Mr. Mensah because he is not a member of the NDC.

When the campaign started, it was genuine enthusiasm that Ghana has made a lot of progress and our democracy has matured, and has achieved a certain political maturity that we have all learned some lessons from the past. But that was not what the NDC as a party has learnt. When a country´s adherence to democratic practices is determined, then pouring acid on a political opponent should have been a thing of the past. Until the NDC learn from the rest of their political opponents by not violating the rights of their opponents, no one is safe in Ghana. Democracy is a dynamic process and it is only successful when a party like the NDC recognise their mistakes and amend their ways.

The kind gesture I am talking about occurred when a delegation of the NPP German branch headed by its Vice-Chairman, the Rev. Alex Acheampong visited Mr. Mensah at home where he is residing and receiving treatment in Freiburg, Germany. Other members of the delegation were as follows.

• Mr. Omama-Yeboah: Deputy National Organiser Germany.

• Mr. Alex Aiddo: A member of Council of Elders Frankfurt Chapter

• Mrs. Recca Grote: Deputy Women Organiser Frankfurt Chapter.

The delegation presented an amount of 500 Euros to him, and that is in addition to the 500 Euros which he has already received from NPP Germany. The Frankfurt Chapter also gave him additional 200 Euros, and Mr Omama-Yeboah, the Deputy National Organiser also gave him a golden wrist watch as a personal gift. This wrist watch gift is akin to telling Mr. Mensah that time heals wounds. The Frankfurt Chapter promised to support him with some items before he leaves for Ghana. Kudos to them.

The NPP especially the German Branch wish him a speedy recovery.

This is not the first time the NDC has employed assassination and murder to further their shortsighted parochial political interests. The history of the employment of assassinations, killings and murder since 1979 is there and forms and has been the foundational precept of the NDC party for power.
In Techiman, an assassination attempt was carried out on an NPP executive, who had to be flown out for further treatment. No justice was served.
A CPP executive in the UK came to Ghana with the intention of further improving on the organization and outreach of the CPP party and met his untimely death at the hands of yet to be identified gunmen. Justice was never served.
The regional chairman of the NPP party who had become a torn in the flesh of the NDC party arising from his indefatigable quest to ensure the NDC was booted out of office in 2016, has been gruesomely assassinated by unidentified assailants who employed methods very similar to the modus operandi of the NDC, which was used in Techiman but failed.
It should be noted again that in the case of the Techiman assassination attempt of the NDC party on the NPP executive, the NPP executive had become again a torn in the flesh of the electoral fortunes of the NDC party. Justice was not served.
And the mother lode of all killings was the one involving the late Atta Mills the sitting President who a former national organizer of the NDC party said there was evidence to show his unconventional killing ala murder and the Founder of the NDC party, had severally commented that it was done to help the fortunes of the NDC party which was heading for an electoral loss.
The NDC party is one that employs death and killings for power and coupled with the incompetence and thievery, Ghana is on a slippery slope to the abyss as a permanent residence.
