Those thieves in politics, both ndc and npp cannot stand the sight of him. The npp thieves have even gone as far as form an alliance with the ndc thieves to ensure he doesn't come to power. If that problem is not confronted head on its going to fester forever and continue to hurt the npp. Everyone knows k4 contributed to the loss of the npp election in 2008 but find it too difficult to believe so assume it's not true. We however have to admit kufour is too experienced a politician not to appreciate the effects of some of the decisions he made after the first round. Even when Nana wanted to contest some of the malpractices kufour conceded the election without giving Nana the chance. When your right hand is giving you problems and it cannot be treated, cut it off to avoid your whole body being affected or infected

Today, he has thrown in another line that Kufuor sacked a minister for supporting Akufo Addo and he has mientioned the Minister's name, for the Minister to respond to what Ephson is putting out there.

So, what? What is wrong with Kufuor supporting Alan and not Akufo-Addo for the Presidency? What if he did sack some Cabinet Minister who went against his wishes? It was the President's prerogative to choose whoever he thought he could work with, and sack anyone who he had lost confidence in.

Meanwhile, why should people be so incensed about Kufuor not supporting Akufo-Addo? How about Dr. Apraku, or any other member of the NPP who contested for the Flagbearership that President Kufuor did not support? Did they have to bear the President that much grudge that they would wildly announce to the whole World that he is a Murder suspect without the remotest evidence?

For all we care, Akufo-Addo does not have any inalienable right to the Presidency. Period! If President Kufuor did not prefer him for his successor, has anyone boldly and frankly wanted to know from the former President why?

How could folks be so obsessed with Akufo-Addo that anyone who happens to dislike him for any reason has to be their enemy? If President Kufuor did not like Akufo-Addo to become the President of Ghana, I bet he has his own reasons for that. And he is entitled to them.

Much of the story has been so cunningly crafted by these Akufo-Addo cult members to let it seem like a betrayal by Kufuor. What treaty did the two, Kufuor and Akufo-Addo, sign to commit Kufuor to the latter's succession of him as the next NPP President of Ghana?

It could well be that President Kufuor knows more about the abilities of, and flaws in, Akufo-Addo than most of Nana's own followers. So, if the former President decided not to support Akufo-Addo based on what he knows about the latter, why should that be a big deal?

I have observed how Akufo-Addo silently hides behind the curtains to allow numerous accusations and lies against Kufuor and Alan run wild from the mouths of his followers. It is a typical Akufo-Addo trait to appear calm, cool and quiet, to fake humility, while doing nothing about his minions going berserk to attack innocent folks.

In that pose, he then could easily win sympathy support while claiming victimized by others who retaliate
against him.

Folks must understand the sophistication of the schemes at play here to help Akufo-Addo win his lifelong ambition to become the President of Ghana.
