All wells drilled by them yielded no viable commercial discoveries. They all said Ghana was TOO RISKY AND BUSINESS UNFRIENDLY AND GRAVE YARD.
Later Texaco, Oxy, Shell, Hess, Addax Petroleum of Switzerland and the Chinese oil co and all ruled Ghana Petroleum off a risky business. It was not until EO Group with DR EDUSEI, brought in Kosmos and Anadarko Petroleum using a modern Technology that Ghana found commercial Oil.
DR EDUSEI DID ALL THESE AS PRIVATE CITIZEN.
What wrong did he commit for your hateful and falsified attacks on him. After a review by the US Department of Justice, they found nothing against him. The Ghana Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, found nothing against him. Ghana Ministry of Finance noted that he acted according to PNDC laws on Petroleum Exploration in Ghana. WHO THEN ARE YOU YOU ALL TO FALSIFY AND SPREAD FALSE INFORMATION ABOUT DR EDUSEI. IT IS LIBEL, publishing false information damaging a persons reputation. Very soon, you cant hide behind the computer again. YOU will be found out.

The Jubliee oil is comprised of Ghana GNPC 13.75%, Tullow 34.7%, Komsos 23.50%, Aandarko 23.50% and Sabre 2.81 %. Do you know the owners of Sabre are Fante's in Ghana. Have you heard from them. Do you know their names? Have you gone after them, NO.
Dr Edusei, hoping to follow his family care and philanthropic life opted to come out and support education of Ghanaian youth through Edusei Foundation. A noble cause to be cherished, but not for Nii Ablorh, KK, Esi and Zoobie.
The Petroleum Holding Fund that Ghana receives payments from all the revenue streams in accordance with Section 6 of Act 815. are due his efforts. The current money Allocation to the Ghana Stabilization and Heritage Funds from the oil are all due to his initiatives and vision. If you will not praise him but call him names and spread false information, then the war is at your door. Let the truth be told, that the lies and falsified information and name calling would not not go on forever.

The EO Group came out of E-Link, a company which Dr. Edusei formed in 1999 to facilitate his philanthropic and entrepreneurial ambition; a trait which is rooted in his family tree.

Dr. Edusei's EO Group brought Kosmos to Ghana. According to Ghana Petroleum law around that time, investors gets 90% whiles Ghana Government gets 10% of the accrued revenue from investors’ exploration of the oil.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT EO Group struck its deal with Kosmos Energy but not Government of Ghana. Thus EO's took its 3% share was from Kosmos Energy but not Government of Ghana. This goes to explain that EO's 3% was taken from Kosmos 90% shares that was due them. Thus Kosmos was left with 87% of their shares whiles Government of Ghana's shares remains 10% as stated by the Ghana Petroleum law.

Dr. Edusei's EO Group signed agreement with Kosmos Energy in July 2003, and rounded the agreement up in early 2004, whiles he became Ghana's ambassador to US in October 2004. So there was no conflict of interest whatsoever as some people are trying to force down our throat. The EO-Kosmos Energy deal was done before he became an ambassador.

In establishing the cleanness of the agreement, international investigators were hired to investigate EO. Yet, they found nothing wrong with their deal with Kosmos.

In 2013, Ghana government cleared EO of any wrong doings.

So now what? The obvious is that it is just due to sheer envy and hatred that some persons continue to throw dust into people's eye to soil the hard earn reputation of Dr. Edusei. But that is not gonna wash. Folks should rather be grateful to the EO Group for making oil exploration in Ghana a reality. Afterall, Tsatsu Tsikata spent millions of dollars of tax payers’ monies in about 20years on flimsy exploration engagements but to no avail.

Let’s Ghanaians be grateful to Dr. Edusei and his EO group, for they have done what "Napoleon" Tsatsu Tsikata couldn't do in 20years.

The Sabre Oil group , who are also Ghanaians and have 2.8% of the Jubilee have done nothing. You dont even know them to write and direct your insults. The Ghanaians who brought Newmont Mining have pocketed their profits and interest and you never hear from them. This man, Dr Edusei, with a family tradition of philanthropy, gave his life to Ghana and volunteered with own resources to serve the poor in the Northern Region as a medical voluntee. He has dedicated his life to enhance the youth in education, which no Ghanaian businessman has done.I THINK YOU SHOULD NOT EXHIBIT YOUR IMMATURITY IN LIFE IN THIS POST. In Grade 10 you can also Read the Ghana Ministry of Finance Report on Oil and Gas in Ghana; In Grade 12, the Read the Ghana Extractive Industries Transparency Intiative Report 2010-2011 and you will see that Dr Edusei acted upon the laws of Ghana and has done no wrong. The Petroleum Holding Fund that Ghana receives payments from all the revenue streams in accordance with Section 6 of Act 815. are due his efforts. The current money Allocation to the Ghana Stabilization and Heritage Funds from the oil are all due to his initiatives and vision. But this man came from humble beginnings over the years, triumphed over hurdles that has giving him strength, tapping into his minds, talents and creativity and skills. This is making him better and better after each adversity.
He is businessman and ventured into the oil field before he was made an Ambassador. Due to the political immaturity of his adversaries, they write nonsense about him . But he is a down to earth gentlemen. Both USA and Ghana after review never found anything improper about him. Lets support his educational and philanthropic programs.
