  Although I agree that lack of education has resulted in the occurrence of most of these defilement cases I cannot see how education could have helped avert this particular incident. The victim in this case knows the man very well and in a characteristic Ghanaian obedience to elders manner accepted to run the errand for him. The fiend in the man then took control of him and he did the unthinkable to the poor unsuspecting child. What I think parents should NOT be doing is leaving their under 12-year old kids roaming around unsupervised either on their own or on errands.
